I have just joined Wrexham CrossFit after deciding to rediscover "my fitness" after giving up rugby more than 10 years ago and going slightly to seed. I`m now 63. What has really impressed me is the friendly tuition and support you get to help you train at just the right level to gain fitness, but not injure yourself after having not trained for quite a while. CrossFit is ideal for anyone regardless of your age, fitness level. Just do it!

I joined CrossFit Wrexham only three weeks ago. Since then, I really enjoyed going and the coaches have been nothing but supportive and encouraging. All of the people I have met in the short time I've been going have been brilliant. I am look forward to going, something I can honestly say I have never felt about any other gym I have joined in the past.

Fantastic gym with best coaches around. I've been a member for almost a year and it has improved my fitness so much, I believe it's due to the superb coaching at CrossFit Wrexham. Every session is different, you'll never get bored and you'll push yourself so much harder cause of the support of coaches and fellow athletes. The atmosphere is always great in the box.

I joined CFW nearly 18 months ago, and it has been the best thing I have ever done in terms of looking after my fitness and overall health. I think the Wrexham Crossfit coaches are all brilliant, they are encouraging, enthusiastic and patient. The classes are always different, challenging and I leave feeling like I’ve achieved something. I still feel like I am learning new skills and improving with each session, and I never feel like it's repetitive or getting easy! There’s a great atmosphere as everyone is really friendly. I actually look forward to going - and I never thought I’d say that!

This is the 2nd CrossFit community I’ve been part of in recent years and Paul and his team at CrossFit Wrexham are doing a tremendous job: the box is a pleasure to be around, the coaches are extremely professional, helpful and passionate about helping their members/athletes get the best out of their training. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and it’s a pleasant place to be. Three and a half weeks in to my training and I’ve already noticed a huge positive impact to my life. After going to different gyms and classes over the years I was persuaded to go to a crossfit class at Crossfit Wrexham. That was over a year ago and I have never looked back. The coaches are great, approachable and knowledgeable and I have been injury free for the over a year. The atmosphere is the best I have felt in any gym. A place where you want to stay and chat after a class. Where you are encouraged, motivated and supported not only by the coaches but other members as well. Great gym and made to feel very welcome.

Started training here 5 months ago, and I love it! The atmosphere is always fun, friendly and supportive, the coaching is excellent (and you get coached through every class) and the workouts are always challenging and always varied so it never gets boring. I have to 'limit' myself to 5-6 days per week so I actually get some much needed rest! I've recently turned 40, and am fitter and leaner than I've been since my mid teens and stronger than I've ever been. Don't be put off by negative stuff you read on the internet about CrossFit, or worry that you have to have a certain level of fitness to start - every class and workout can be 'scaled' to enable every participant to get the same out of a class, regardless of their current level of strength, stamina, flexibility or mobility. CrossFit Wrexham has people from all sorts of background, both social and physical, and nobody will 'judge' you for what you can or can't do (or anything else). Except during the Open, but then it's all fun ;-) If you're curious, give it a try; if you want to make real improvements in strength, stamina or mobility, give it a try. Most importantly, if you want to train in a friendly atmosphere with a real community spirit and attentive, knowledgeable coaches, give it a try. You won't be disappointed! *Disclaimer: despite how this sounds, I haven't been paid to write this! I just genuinely LOVE the place! :-)

Crossfit Wrexham is great gym, I have been a member for over a month every session is different and challenges you. The coaches are very knowledgeable, approachable and always give you guidance whilst you are working out to help carry out the movements correctly. Awesome gym highly recommended!!!

This has been a real eye opener for me. Joined Crossfit Wrexham late in 2017 unsure of what to expect. I've been to gyms previously and had some success but I was lacking a little inspiration and I thought CFW could help. They really have, I look forward to every session and feel bad for not going more!! The people are welcoming, really friendly, fun and encourage each other all the time. The coaches are really good, they help you to focus on the important things, more often technique before speed/weight and three programmes are constantly varied to keep it interesting. I'm always shattered when I leave, always a good sign!

Since joining Crossfit Wrexhan last October it has changed my life so much for the better! After going to the gym for over 2 years and not really progressing with my fitness, joining Crossfit was a whole new experience. I am now healthier, fitter and most importantly I am happier in myself, something all my friends and family comment on. It does not matter if you are the slowest or fastest, you are part of a team with a fantastic bunch of supporters encouraging you to be your best! It has given me what I have always lacked: self confidence. Although I had always been a member of a gym, I was not successful at sticking to a strengthening programme. However, the amazing people, great atmosphere and fantastic coaching has helped me stick with it. I have achieved things I did not think I was capable off and I can't wait to see where I will be in 12 months time with my training! Absolutely brilliant place to get your workout. Friendly and dedicated coaches that will help you progress through all stages of crossfit. No egos at all everyone helps and encourages everyone, from the beginners all the way to those who have been doing this for a while. Can't recommend this enough.

Crossfit Wrexham is more than just a Crossfit gym. The coaches are great, patient and of course knowledgeable. The other members welcome new members like life long friends. The atmosphere is great, very good equipment. (Except the assault bike). That's just my opinion. The classes are well structured and the app is very easy to navigate around. The kids class is awesome that's my 11 year olds words.

I've tried all kinds of gyms and exercise classes over the years never stuck at them and got bored quickly. I've been at crossfit Wrexham now almost two years and it's honestly the best thing I've ever done. Classes are always varied never the same. Coaching is top class. And last but definitely not least is the community we have is priceless we hang around after classes chatting and don't want to leave! I'm achieving a level of fitteness and strength I thought I'd never get to at the young age of nearly 42! You won't regret joining!!

The quality of coaching I have received has been fantastic. The positive atomosphere, originating from the coaches and being amplified by a class of people all keen to get fitter is unresistably infectious. Written on the wall you'll see: "leave your ego at the door"..... do this and challenge yourself and you'll have a great time. No better way to start the day....... also they make a great cup of coffee.

From the start of the first day I was welcomed by the coaches and everyone else at crossfit. It’s a great place to better yourself no matter what condition your in, it not about who’s the fittest here and more of a friendly atmosphere with everyone encouraging everyone else. You always try do your best but that’s what it about your best, not competition or orthers telling you your not as good as them. The opposite as a matter of fact everyone encouraging to what you can do. The good thing too is getting the right training for the correct technique and not the biggest lifts. Learning to do it properly helps so much, so I’d recommend it to anyone that just wants to better them selves and like the social side too where your encouraged and not judged one iota. Really glad that I’ve joined and enjoying the people there more too.

I’ve been at Crossfit Wrexham since the Autumn of 2016 and I can honestly say it’s changed my whole life. I’m fitter, leaner and physically and emotionally stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. It doesn’t matter if you think you're a beginner with no level of fitness or an athlete this place will strip you back and start from scratch. You’ll do things you haven’t done since a kid, you’ll learn new skills, you’ll push yourself further than you ever dreamed possible and if you’re up for it you’ll become the best version of you. It’s run with military precision which means your kept really safe and feel looked after all of the time. The community of members is the most welcoming and encouraging I ever experienced in a gym. We’re all working hard together to improve ourselves individually! If you want to get fit....... this place will do that for you. Just come down and see for yourself xxxxx

After 12 months at my local commercial gym getting nowhere, learning nothing and hating every minute, I needed a change, I needed something different & I needed a challenge. Turns out what I needed was CFW. 3 months on with the team and I am just loving my journey. Everything at CFW was new to me, I didn’t know my dumbbells to my wall balls, but every coach gives incredible instruction & guidance in each work out ensuring you know exactly what you are doing and more importantly, how to do it. Sometimes the board looks a bit scary and nerves kick in thinking I cant do that ,but as one coach has instilled in me , it’s not that I can’t do it I just haven’t learnt how and he really is right. CFW has given me a confidence in my body & ability that I didn’t even know existed and for that I’m truly grateful. To be honest I didn’t really know what CFW was about when I joined and I’m not sure I could explain it to anyone now either. Some things you really do just need to experience for yourself to truly appreciate them and CFW is one of them. If your someone pondering at the “find out more” button, seriously don’t be nervous, just click it & come in. If like me your concerned there is no mention of cost on the website & presume it must be too expensive then you’re wrong. Everyone is different with different goals, we don’t all need or want the same things so CFW have tailor made flexible coaching packages to suit everyone from all walks of life and there will be one to suit you. I am not saying it’s cheap because quality never is but what I can 100% tell you is tell you is what you get for your money is exceptional and you will not find it anywhere else (trust me I have looked) I pay less money now than I did at the commercial gym but & what I am getting is much much more. Thanks CFW for making me so welcome and part of the team

This is not a ‘gym’ as you know it, it’s so much more. It’s like having a personal trainer for every session, making sure you do every movement correctly so you don’t injure yourself and get the best out of each and every workout. There isn't much that I can say which hasn't already been said in one of the other reviews so I'll keep it brief and start this review by saying "What everybody else has said" and finish it with - "This place is pretty special, the combination of great coaches, group classes, and the other members I train with make for an awesome training experience that for me has reversed the aging process and taken my fitness to levels where its never been before.
