I’ve been enjoying Ali’s Pilates sessions for years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Ali’s teaching is clear, her presence motivating, her routines prepared with great care and expertise. There are moments of humour in every lesson, and an atmosphere of warm relaxation pervades. My favourite point of a busy week is often at the end of the class where Ali encourages us to ‘float for a moment’: having been completely aware of every part of our body during the Pilates movements, we are lifted up and away into a brief blissful daydream. Magic.

I have been attending Ali's pilates sessions regularly since 2015. As a long-distance runner they have really helped me build my core strength and resolved some lower back pain that I used to get on longer runs. I really enjoy the variety of Ali's sessions, and the fact that they flow really nicely from mat work to standing and balancing work. The mat sessions are a nice mix of challenging and accessible movements, and everything is adaptable. I've also done a 1-2-1 session with Ali, which was excellent - this was during a period of injury and Ali tailored the session so that I could do pilates while also avoiding any issues with the injury.

I was very late coming to Pilates and really regret not starting it earlier in my life but better late than never and Ali is a great person and teacher. She manages to keep the exercises within reach but still gets
me stretching just that little bit more.

Pilates is a great way to relax and stay fit and supple and Ali is a wonderful teacher and guide, very clear and easy to follow. As someone in her 60s I’ve benefitted greatly from Ali’s classes over several years, both in person and live-streamed. Not being one for repetitive exercises Ali’s classes never get boring as she is able to vary the moves and sequences and bring something fresh to each session.

Ali Jones Pilates classes which I have attended for about 4 years are always a joy to attend and Ali is a superb tutor and you never get bored, with a large range of different excercises and programmes . Ali goes that extra mile for her clients.

When I first started Pilates with Ali 7 years ago I was a total beginner. She gave me confidence and helped me to exercise parts that were totally stiff - at the end of a session I felt more aligned. I still get that.
Ali has also kept me sane as well as mobile! Adapting to giving lessons on Zoom and letting us continue at home was a godsend, and in lockdown my two sessions were a main focus of each long week. She's an expert at balancing the basics and the more challenging exercises whilst always ensuring everyone can find their own level and progress in their practice.
