I had 2 bulk bags of gravel delivered and the delivery driver was exceptional and spent a considerable amount of time negotiating my tricky driveway to deliver the bags exactly where I needed them. Excellent service all round and they will now be my first point of call for building supplies going forwards.
V. T.I have been buying building materials from all the different Builders Merchants in Bedford for years but never had cause to go into the Bedford branch of Travis Perkins due to the fact that it's actually out of my way. However, a few months ago, an item that I needed was out of stock in Toolstation (which is just across the way from TP) so I was advised to go and try TP as they might have the item in stock.
Well, they did, and over the past few months, I’ve had cause to continue going into TP and buy my building materials because not only did I find that they had most items in stock, their customer service seemed to stand out from all the other Builders Merchants in Bedford.
As such, I felt compelled to write this review so that anyone who knows me and values my opinion (or actually, anyone who reads this review) is aware of my experience.
Whilst it would be quite easy for me to just simply state that all the items that I’ve since bought there have always been great products, there is however one other aspect of this TP branch that I feel is perhaps even more important.
Customer Service.
Matt and his team have always dealt with me in a most professional and friendly manner and have always made me feel welcome whenever I’ve gone in to their depot to enquire or buy items that I need for my building needs.
Whether it’s been for a small one off item or numerous items, the staff seem to have a work ethic that gives the impression that they’ll all go the extra mile to help with your orders.
Prices aren’t always the main reason for me to buy products from a company because I’ve come to the conclusion that cheap is not always the best. However, and despite this, I can confidently state that the prices that TP offer are some of the most competitive prices in Bedford.
Add to that, the way I’m treated as a customer by Matt, Bruce and Asher compels me to continue using TP for all my building product needs as they have always provided me with what I can only describe as excellent customer service.
And then add to that, quality products, so as far as I’m concerned, Matt and his team are worthy me taking my time to provide this review because they’ve earned it.
Thanks for all your help and great customer service Matt. Please keep up the great work, and of course, the great prices!
