There are some real self-entitled reviews on line and I've been witness to one to two incredibly rude customers who seem to think that harassing shop workers is ok. Fair play to the staff for putting up with it.
These guys are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to try and order things in for you. Particularly Dan.
They'll always be my first shout. And I'm more than happy to recommend them to everyone.

M.Very helpful staff and paint mixing service was interesting. I liked this place. A young man was polite, professional and very helpful. I got 5 litres of Dulux Chic Shadow, 2.5lt Crown Trade Imperial Gold and 1lt Aqua Gloss White. It actually worked out easier to go straight there as there are some issues in other shops. I would recommend this shop to everybody
K. D.My first time to go into this store all I needed was 5 dowels to mend a cupboard. As I suspected they only came in bags of 50+, when I mentioned this to the owner he very kindly opened the bag and sold me 5 for 50p!
So don’t let the slightly chaotic look of the place put you off, management are good people. Shop local and keep your community strong!
N. S.Perfect wee hardware store. Usually has what you need, especially if you find it difficult to get elsewhere. Great range of light bulbs. Very happy with the advice provided. Good offers on paint, too. Plenty of free parking available - can be a nightmare getting out of lot though.
