J. S.They sell wood, they cut it too. This is a good thing if you wish to buy cut wood. Much better than Wickes or B&Q in terms of selection and price. They also deliver locally, handy for full sheets and long length timbers.

P. L.I was looking for somewhere to cut plywood sheet to size. I dropped them an email on Saturday morning. Within 10 mins they telephoned me back and confirmed they could do the multiple cuts I was looking for. When I arrived, service was excellent, staff were helpful, the cutting service was quick and efficient. Excellent experience 👍
P. O.Always my preferred source for timber. I've yet to find (or not) something they dont have. The staff are all very helpful both in the timber section and hardware side. The machine shop is excellent. Most help getting sheet cut to size and timbers planned to what ever size you need. Recommend this place to all.

W. M.Went here to get a door for a built in wardrobe in my son’s new house. The door was an odd size and needed to be cut down. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They gave advice on what size door was best, how to alter the frame to fit and then guidance on how to cut it down. The man who cut it down was very careful to make the door look right and then went off and made two new end pieces to fill the gaps. A brilliant job when it was fitted later on. Couldn’t recommend this business highly enough. Thank you to all there.

Staff always helpful, get there at least 1/2hour before they close if you want a cutting service.
J.If you want window frames or doors made to size, larger timbers for an extension, beading, plumbing, in fact it’s a veritable Aladdin’s cave for EVERYTHING D.I.Y. Also great for the “proper builder “
