Great place to get items for garden and house that you cant get elsewhere. Lovely sculptures, garden ornaments, old bricks, mirrors etc etc We bought a stone cat for £20 which in plastic from a garden place would be more. So good we are going back for another - cant just have 1 cat!!

Really great place to visit, there is so much to look at and the staff are very friendly and easy going. We needed a slate hearth and timber mantle for our house and both were at hand to buy at a very competitive price especially for the quality in slate. Definitely worth the visit

I visited recently to buy some railway sleepers. These were good value and delivered promptly. However, above all Mr Theodore and his son offered great customer service throughout. They were welcoming, friendly and helpful providing advice and assistance and showing the kids the fun things they have for sale there. They were a pleasure to do business with.

An Aladdin’s cave of salvage stuff. It’s always a fun trip out and they get some odd pieces in. But they like the odd stuff themselves and may decide to keep it. So check it’s for sale before you invest yourself emotionally. Timber sleepers are very competitively priced. Some of the reclaimed doors (especially the ones with stained glass) can be a bit out of my bracket. Not all the statuary is reclaimed. Some is new. But as a whole it’s a brilliant place. Street parking only, which can get a bit “free form” at times, especially when the 4x4s start rolling up. EDIT We just got some great quality weathered scaffolding boards about 4m long at around £15 each. Delivered for a reasonable charge

Deceptively large place with everything from old beams to brand new uPVC windows. I went for the wood range, which is absolutely huge and inside thankfully as we went in the rain. We found exactly what we wanted and about 15 other things that would have been just as perfect. Staff were all full of knowledge, helpful and happy to cut a large piece into four for us. There are two lovely cats inside too if you're a cat person!

Denis and his son were fantastic in their service and I will be using them again in the future. We had some fireplaces for sale in a property renovation and Denis offered a very reasonable price for them. They came round when they said they would and were courteous throughout. Would highly recommend contacting them on any period fixtures that require removal.

I bought some used builders planks from here to build planters, good customer service. Friendly staff, always helpful. An update from my last post above. More recently I have purchased upvc double doors and a upvc window from Theodore for a workshop renovation. The window was glazed already, the door wasn't. The glass hadn't yet arrived at Theodores for the doors, was to follow in a short period of time. Sure enough Theodores gave me a call when the glass was there. We arranged for it to be delivered. Was same day, within a couple hours. Nothing was too much trouble from Theodores. Always polite, ready to help. Every time I have shopped at Theodores I've always had excellent service.

Lots of funky doors and antique items for sale which can be a bit pricey. The yard is bursting with options but they should expand as some stuff is stack on top of each other or stored outside, I recommend checking it out though.
