B.I needed three different types of Batteries and two different specialist light bulbs, I had tried several local stores without any success until my daughter told me about A S Goulding’s in Hanham I live in South Gloucestershire but the trip was well worth it. The store reminded me of a shop called the Electric Spark which was an old fashioned hardware shop many many years ago in Clouds hill road St George. Holdings had everything I needed not expensive and the advice given and the knowledge shared by the staff was excellent thanks guys and long may you all prosper in business you’re the reason why the internet cannot replace face to face service !!!
P. T.An excellent shop with an impressive range of stock and extremely helpful staff. Unlike the out of town hardware giants, you’re able to buy the quantity of fixings you actually need rather than adding to the jars in your shed. They’ve earned my loyalty today.
A. T.Really helpful staff, seems to have a good variety of different things. A good store to get anything from a kitchen item to garden things. Was impressed as I could buy things singularly and didn't have to get a pack I'd never use. Really reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
A. a. M. P. -. H.This is an excellent little shop with great staff and which almost always has what I need, in the amounts I need and at a price which is often cheaper than the bigger shops like B&Q. It will be a sad day if they ever close. However, do not buy the Energizer LED light bulbs that they stock as they do not last anywhere near the advertised 15,000 hours. They don't stock any other brands so sadly I had to jump into my car and go elsewhere today and my money on this occasion went into the pockets of a multi-national company instead of into supporting my local high street.

If you don't see what you need, just ask and, if they don't have what you need, they will do their best to get it for you. All at extremely competitive prices and always delivered with a smile. Cannot recommend highly enough.

One sugguestion would be a ramp for wheelchair users. :-)
