Wonderful service provided as a matter of course. Ordered a simple calor gas cylinder as so few around the county at the moment. Jim put it on one side for me. He then called me back when they were busy serving others (even though I had not left a message) and left gas at next door cycle shop as I collected out of hours. How nice to find simple, great service by default.

Excellent. B&Q couldn't help as older model light but Hollister knew immediately what we needed and was able to get it off the shelf without difficulty. Think I'd go there as a first place of call for anything I needed in the future.

Helpful efficient staff and I got exactly what I wanted

Little shop big help.... Can't praise them enough brought gas fire but when I got it home it was not lighting took it back and they kept hold of it whilst I went about my day and they got it working but when I took it home it was not working but called them and they sent someone out to me found out it was my gas bottle and they changed it over there and then!! Fantastic service and the people working there was so polite. Full rating from me

Hollisters is a propper old style hardware shop. If you need anything from a tin of "Periwinkle blue" paint, to a 1/4" BSF tap and die set, they've probably got it in stock (Or knows where they or you could get it from quickly). They have a huge selection of products on the shelves, and the prices aren't bad either.

Old fashioned hardware store, a great place to get just what you want, ie a specific bolt, nut or screw.

If you have an unusual part, screw, tap, nail, washer, nut or bolt, go here, you will probably find a match. Also sand, cement, gravel, wood, fence posts, timber and creosote. Paint for interior or exterior use with all the associated extras like brushes, thinners brush cleaners etc. Big items can be delivered too.
