C. W.My first time using an interior fitting company and I was incredibly hesitant as I was somewhat naive and wanted to make sure I didn’t go with the wrong company. After having visited a few competitors with somewhat mediocre show rooms and services, I was feeling rather deflated, then I stumbled across Porcelanosa and visited their Cardiff store.
Not only was I impressed by how immaculate their show room was, I was greeted by Huw who made me feel completely at ease and was incredibly knowledgeable for someone who seemed so young. He didn’t rush me and allowed me to go through every detail that I wanted while adding some of his own knowledge which was incredibly helpful.
Needless to say I will be returning in future and big thanks to Huw for making the whole customer experience so enjoyable !

She made us feel so comfortable and welcome. We came away with lots of idea and with the address / contact details of the store near us. She even give us her details in case we had any questions. J. D.Their products may be good and they may be competitive- but I will never know. Even paying and collecting for samples was extremely disjointed and difficult resulting in collection of samples that missed out those which were required. In providing my mobile number to them I would expect it to be used for a follow up for assistance and satisfaction - not to be provided to a 3rd party for "feedback/satisfaction survey" which I do not usually use (preferring to air any dissatisfaction privately with the vendor for resolution. ) But in the absence of that ,and their preference to give my number to a third party , I air them here. Another example of a disjointed approach which cannot even be supported by a current and relevant brochure for ease of tile identification .
Such is the disjointed ness, even the survey asks of my visit to Cardiff. I have never been to the Cardiff branch - only Bristol twice !!! ( once to view,second to collect -with hastening calls between -and "payment in advance" of tiles that could not be delivered - only at a cost of £60. ) How "retail side" sale tiles I'll never know if it's this difficult to access samples at customers cost.

M. B.A contrast to the reviews. I went in to browse and was dressed having just come from the gym - so looked a little out of place. I was gently approached and Jose was really helpful showing me all of my options. One thing I've noticed that this isn't like your normal pressured sales kitchen/bathroom shop, it's higher end with allot less pressure. You need to make an appointment to see the salesman to go through things in detail - there aren't salesmen just wondering around trying to lure you into buying, if the reps are all busy then it may feel like you're being ignored but it's simply because they are already with clients. Jose was great getting a super CAD design in detail, producing some good ideas and giving me options I'd not thought of, he really understood what I was looking for in terms of style and tiles. Communication has been great and a good experience. He even came in on his only day off for the week to get everything finalised for me. Thank you!

D. M.As a landlord/property developer I have been purchasing tiles from Porcelanosa for over 10 years, and although they are expensive, they are certainly of a good quality. However, I have now reached the point of frustration with their bathrooms that I just have to leave a review.
We have 9 properties in our portfolio, and have owned them for over 10 years. All of the properties were either bought as new builds or were refurbished with new bathrooms. All of the bathrooms still have their original showers/baths/toilets since we first bought them - mostly Ideal Standard suites. However the house we live in (which was a new build when we bought it) has been fitted with Porcelanosa sanitary fittings in the cloakroom, bathroom and ensuite shower room. Despite being only 5 years old we have had problems with everything apart from the bath and bathroom sinks. Within those 5 years, the shower cubicle door has come off its tracks periodically, the flimsy mdf bath panel soon started to swell, the coloured discs on the mixer taps all dropped off, the bumpers on all 3 toilet seats disintegrated - I ordered more from Porcelanosa at the cost of just under £30 (!!!) and they have also disintegrated. Suffice to say, for the high cost and low quality I will certainly not be buying Porcelanosa sanitaryware again. I'd recommend anyone looking for bathroom fittings to choose a brand more renowned for them and just use Porcelanosa for tiles.
