We used Purdy's, as we could not find the roof tiles we wanted from the local builders' merchants for our refurbished roof. John was recommended to us, and we found his advice was extremely helpful as well as beneficial; so, we ordered 10,000 tiles. Delivery of tiles was within a week of order and the driver was most helpful with the "drop off" on our driveway close to scaffolding. We would have no hesitation in recommending J Purdy & Sons for their expertise and vast selection of different tiles. Have used Purdy &sons for many years, found it quicker to contact first rather mucking around contacting others. Always has what you need and at the right price. Been in the yard when people have traveled from the Midlands to get what they can't get elsewhere. Great selection of garden slabs, bricks, roof tiles, sleepers. It's like an Aladdin's cave for the building trade. Don't waste your time ring there first.

Phoned on Tuesday, emailed pictures of my tiles, went up Friday, picked up 100 perfect reclaimed tiles. Just make sure you know how many you need and take half a dozen to compare. Highly recommend. I won't be going anywhere else. 👍

Fantastic company! Made a call, sent a picture of the item I needed as requested, stock was confirmed very quickly (they have huge stock levels!). Ordered and collected with no hassle. Would use them again without a second thought. Very highly recommended.

Cannot recommend J Purdy & Sons highly enough. The range of tiles is astronomical and I was able to obtain exactly what I needed (60 Dutch clay tiles) to complete a roof refurb. And the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great service and very impressed with efficiency. I was looking for some very rare tiles for the roof of our 17C cottage and sent Purdys a photo. They identified the tile quickly and miraculously, had some in stock. Next day delivery was arranged and today the tiles arrived. Only caution, the pallet lorry is huge and after a phone call I arranged to meet the driver in a local car park to off load the tiles as he was unlikely to get down our narrow village High Street. Great service all round. Am now a fan! Well done John and the Purdy team.
