I couldn't get to the store before closing, so the wonderful staff managed to get someone to drop the item off to me on their way home. Exceptional customer service, they not only went above and beyond, it was their suggestion! 10/10 guys, cannot recommend enough.

Great service and really friendly. Ordered a small chest freezer late Saturday night and had it delivered Wednesday morning, on time and efficiently. Delivery men were friendly and cleaned down the freezer, covid compliant, after delivery. Will definitely use again

I love Staines and Brights! It has everything you need - and a million things you didn't know you couldn't live without! Knowing they are family run, and wanting to do my bit to support local/independent businesses, I always try them before that big corporate online place!! Recent purchases have included: a splatter guard for my frying pan, oven cleaner, a bottle brush, filters for my vacuum, silver polish, a spatula, some beautiful greetings cards and pet food! We moved to Tiptree only four years ago and found the amazing Staines and Brights, we were able to buy a freezer, 2 cookers and many other things. Marvellous shop, with amazingly wide selection of good quality items. They aren’t always the cheapest, but also are not the most expensive. Very good garden section at the back of the shop, plus excellent kitchen section, China, paint....you name it, they have it. The shop is actually huge; it just goes on and on! Alladin's cave of goodies! Like the Tardis it's much bigger on the inside, and packed with homeware, garden stuff, pet bits, gift items....and more! Extremely Covid safe - forget no shoes no shirt, if you're not wearing a mask (and wearing it CORRECTLY) you're not getting in!

We visited Brights Electrical Shop recently when our 30 year-old freezer needed replacing. We have been greatly impressed by the service we received. The first thing is that we were afforded a generous amount of time by the helpful and knowledgeable staff who carefully researched and outlined the various replacement options available to us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We chose the Liebherr freezer, which needed to be ordered in. Delivery and installation followed within a week - and this was also delightfully quick and efficient. It is so nice to know a retailer who remains committed to good old fashioned customer service. A great local store that sells alot of those things you need. The store stretches right back from the store front and is quite big overall. Family run Business that "listens" and stocks just about everything you could ever need for the home and garden. I have been shopping with Staines & Brights since I moved to this village 35 years ago. If it isn't in stock, they get it for you and deliver within 24 hours of order. Manager, Heidi, keen to help and when there is a problem someone calls and sorts it out or an alternative product recommended. Support your local store, before they "disappear". You don't get "service" over the internet. Just agro!" They are competitive in pricing and you can see before you buy. During shielding, I have ordered with confidence knowing if the item isn't quite right that they will substitute for what is right or refund without question. Ordering off the internet saves nothing and adds to the frustration if the product isn't quite right. I dread the time when we can't ask for advise and no-one can look through catalogues or on-line products to make suggestions. Stick local - support small businesses.

Have been a customer since the day we moved in back in 1983 when we bought a light fitting for our home - now we are not able to come to the shop - they come to us - great service - I made a mess of the last order - no worry they said and came back with what I intended to order - a different size battery to what I actually ordered. Today have ordered a new Wok for cooking and a big bag of bird seed - confident they will be here by tomorrow.
