Think global, buy local! This is a great wee shop, staffed by people who are very helpful and knowledgeable, and stocked with a useful range of competitively priced DIY supplies. I would rather go here in the first instance than visit a national chain store.

I found a young boy fighting to fix his bike He wasnt local n needed it sorted to get home I took him to jamiesons as I didn't know how else to help, I offered to pay if anything was needed but a staff member offered to help un stick the chain for free, top block!! You have definitely made a life long customer in me!! Thank you for being such a good guy Not all heros wear capes !!

Dont normally leave reviews but here I am. Called them up and was given a ton of friendly advice, way more than I was expecting. Left feeling that I had the information I needed but if I got stuck installing the system ( Drayton Wiser ) then I would feel more than confident about getting them out to help. Great service

Always helpful, great stock, great prices and helpful staff. Support your local independent ironmonger and tool store, there's not many of them about! They're prices are not really any different to the big national chains and you'd be helping keep local businesses alive.

Needed emergency gas after completely running out due to a glitch in the system. Jamiesons appeared a couple of hours after calling Flogas headquarters with a temporary supply for the weekend, before a bulk delivery. Brilliant. Crisis averted.
