We had a very positive experience of Reproduction Plaster Co when they repaired a section of plaster cornice that had come down with part of the ceiling in our 100 year old house. Initial email communication was quick and clear. Gary who came to take a mould then complete the repair was very polite and efficient and did an excellent job of not leaving any mess or dust behind. I would highly recommend them.

I could not recommend Reproduction plaster highly enough. Not only did they do a seamless job of matching the repair to the original ornate cornicing, but as total perfectionists they also made good existing cracks in my ceilings, not quoted for, in order that when they stepped away they left the whole ceiling complete and ready for painting. No quibbling or anything, they just couldn’t leave without being totally happy with their work, and in turn we are delighted with the result. Top marks.

I’ve used Reproduction Plaster for 4 jobs now and they have excelled each time. Courteous, friendly help from the initial point of phone contact, through to onsite work. My last job could have very dusty and messy, replacing cracked plaster and moulding in a bay window ceiling. However with Reproduction Plaster there was almost no dust from bringing down the old plaster and the cleanup was impressively tidy. The job of replacing the bay window ceiling plaster and installing matching moulding was done in less than a day, and the new moulding looks perfect.

We wanted new cornice to match the style of existing cornice in other rooms. The specialists visited and recommend a cornice profile which closely matched. When the guys came to fit, they covered all the floors with sheeting and worked their magic at ceiling level. It looks like the cornice and ceiling rose have always been there! After everything was fitted, all the sheeting and waste was taken away. Repro plaster is more expensive than your average plasterer, but the quality of their work is second to none. I know where the joins and fixing holes are, but even I can’t see them. Top quality!

A seamless specialist service. Our damaged plaster cornice was removed and replaced with an exactly matching cornice, impossible to tell where the work was done if you didn't know. All possible care taken to reduce dust and properly cleaned up and removed afterwards.

An excellent repair was carried out to a damaged ceiling rose in a listed building. This company obviously know their stuff. I was offered two methods of repair with varying levels of complexity and cost. I opted for the cheaper repair which was very reasonable which is superb. Once the rose is painted I would defy anyone to be able to pick out the repair/replacement leaf. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic service. We had 3 rooms where, along 1 wall in each room, the Cornicing was missing. The end result of how the Reproduction Plaster team matched the new to the existing cornicing in each room is nothing short of amazing. The boys that did the work were brilliant as well. We had a highly decorative Victorian ceiling rose with significant damage to leaf tip outpoints. due to wear and tear and a recent plaster skim. I contacted Reproduction Plaster who were able to take samples of the outpoints, create a new plaster mould and refit the leaf tip outpoints. The result is a beautifully sharp outline to the ceiling rose. Not only was the work to a very high standard but Reproduction Plaster fitted in the work at short notice to tie in with my decorator’s timescale. I would highly recommend Reproduction Plaster to do such specialist work and will use them myself again to repair other decorative plasterwork in our Victorian property.

This is a fabulous company. They have been magnificent from the word go and have been so accommodating of changes to dates and schedules, caused by other work men. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. Their communication has been perfect. They have done an amazing job of cornice replacement. It blends in to the original perfectly. It’s impossible to see the joins where it has been replaced. It’s not often that a company exceeds all expectations of them but this one has. I really cannot praise them enough. I highly recommend them and will always use them in future for replacement of special features in property.

My feedback is a year overdue, but it’s good to know even after a year the cornice still looks great! I needed to match the cornice in my bedroom on a new wall with existed one. The staff is very pleasant and really professional to deal with. They made a mould, match it perfectly, honestly can’t tell the difference. I went through major home renovation and they were one of the nicest trades! The guys even offered to help and tidy some bits of ceiling which fell off ( not because of them). Super lovely! I had a great experience with Reproduction Plaster. I purchased an old tenement flat which had been reconfigured and renovated, during which time all period features were lost. Reproduction Plaster came out for a survey and to make suggestions about what would be appropriate in terms of size, scale and design. I was really pleased with their choices and ran with them - they look great! The installation team were mobilised really quickly and the whole flat was done within a week. If I was to make a criticism, I would say they could have made more of an effort to keep the communal areas of my building clean from loose plaster and footprints throughout the job. Notwithstanding, I'm really thrilled with the result and would highly recommend them.

I have very elaborate cornicing in my front room. The plaster had to be taken down in my bay window area in order to check for underlying damage when some plaster fell down. Reproduction Plaster came and took copies of the mouldings to replace the cornicing which was damaged. The replacement cornicing is now in place and looks as good as new. The work was done very professionally and the workmen obviously knew what they were doing. They also cleared up very well after they were finished. I have now had a second visit from Reproduction Plaster to replace my hall ceiling which was in danger of collapse. Once again they worked very professionally taking down and disposing of the existing plaster work and replacing it with new plaster and a new ceiling rose - which was put together on site from individual pieces of plasterwork. I am very happy with the work they did and the way in which they cleared up afterwards and would recommend them to anyone needing this sort of work done.

The decorative plaster in our Victorian house bedrooms was damaged and missing. Reproplaster came and took moulds and then returned later and fitted beautifully made new cornices. A perfect reproduction of hand-made cornicing produced, originally, around a hundred years ago. It's impossible to see where the original ends and the reproduction begins. The plasterers who worked on the room after the cornicing was installed, and work on many properties of a similar age and in the same area, commented on the quality of the reproduction and were also impressed with its quality.

THE BEST COVERING CENTRAL BELT IN MY OPINION!!! The staff are lovely, the product was as we requested and not overly expensive. From the website you might think that they only do big jobs but they sell ceiling roses and coving etc. We went here to get a ceiling rose after we had a terrible service from Wm Boyle in Glasgow where they had a disgusting attitude, awful service and everything we bought was damaged.
