Staff are nice and friendly. I do regularly use but recently the housekeeping has been terrible, availability of trolleys has been very limited as all in use by staff or returns sat on them not yet restocked. The stock levels on the website are actually a joke and forklift driver specific items are only available when they have a driver. In a few orders they have gone home and not dropped stuff like insulation down. Lots of room for improvement as I’ve countless wasted journeys. Makes me look elsewhere

First time using them was great, got home the day of the delivery and the product was left on my drive way ready to use. With such a great initial impression, I opted to use them again. This time my delivery was cancelled. The only update I got on this was the lack of product at my house. When phoning them to get this resolved, the attitude appeared nonchalant, almost as though the failure was my fault. Offering to redeliver a week after my intended delivery date with no explanation as to why it wasn't delivered in the first place. The product is good and assuming all goes well with your initial order, the experience is great. However if anything does go wrong, expect great challenges in trying to get it resolved, and being left with a feeling that it is somehow your fault. Customer service is key for recommendation and repeat business. Unfortunately this message does not appear to have reached every member of the Wickes team. Getting through by phone requires many attempts to call the store. Live chat has unacceptable wait times. Three stars have been awarded as I believe not everyone who engages with there delivery service will occur the same issues and the product that does get delivered in my view was very good.

Arrived at the store and 1 item on the shelve, was looking for 5. Patricia went out her way, took my trolley and went to the back and got the guy to bring pallets down. I left with my 5 items. Great service Patricia.

Went for loft boards nothing on the shop floor asked a member of staff who informed me that there was a pallet in the back behind a load of other pallets he went and collected a trolley went through the back and brought me out the loft boards great customer service from this member of staff unfortunately i never got his name.

Easy to find products. Store not busy therefore no queue at checkout

Did a click and collect then went to pick it up the next day. Wasn't ready, had to wait 90 mins for them to get it together. Got it home and noticed one item was wrong. Took it back the next day to be told that they didn't have the item I had ordered and paid for in stock. And they tried to charge me an extra £25 for the next most similar thing they did have in stock. Kicked up a little bit of fuss until they gave me the different item for the same price as the one I was meant to get, which is part of the reason this is a 3* review and not lower. The other reason this isn't a 1* review is that the staff member who I first spoke to when I went in to collect was very nice, helpful and apologetic for my order not being ready and my 90 min wait time. Won't be using this Wickes again, which means I won't be using Wickes at all as the next nearest one to me is over an hours drive. I recommend if you do have to use it, dont click and collect. And if you do, make sure you double check every item in your order before leaving.

Very handy but not a huge store. Entrance is a bit confusing and a bit small, but plenty of parking space. It's easy to get to Google maps gets you right to the door and I found all that I wanted and more. Check out for offers and bargains at the store online. There were some really good reductions

Been a bit of a saga getting our kitchen from here with some issues from designer interest and attitude to receiving a flat packed kitchen when I thought it was a bespoke service when it was designed to now taking nearly 2 weeks to get one screw that was missing (even after being ordered with customer relations it was the wrong one) but ultimately the kitchen is great

Just had my kitchen fitted by Wickes, London Road, Glasgow. We had our kitchen designed by Kenny who gave us a lot of great advice and the fitting was completed by Lawrie and William along with the electricians and plumber. I cant recommend them highly enough. An all round great experience without any problems. Thank you for my lovely kitchen.

Much smaller than I was expecting and the layout wasn't very customer friendly. Tills were rejigged for Covid, but not very well thought out. Not as wide a selection as anticipated and lacking in deals

Very safe and fast , great service, used click and collect you go straight to front of clink and collect queue. Where a staff member radios store and items are brought straight to you couldn't be better.

It's s Wicked with all the usual day and building stuff. I didn't find the staff either particularly friendly or helpful. The love to natter between themselves and give you a look like you've walked into a Rangers pub wearing a Celtic top. (Other rival clubs are available)

I came here to buy a door, I bought that door and then I left. It is a shop that sells home improvement stuff and DIY equipment. It is not my first choice DIY shop but it is the one that had the door I wanted. The carpark is a bit tight but it has one.
