L. M.Good range of products, not too pricey. Some stuff looks and feels cheaper so so long as you know you get what you pay for, it's great. Everything we bought was great. Staff helped alot with wallpaper! I had no idea about batch codes! Massive downside was there was no one on the till and when a lady called a colleague out to serve, she gave her a bit of attitude in front of us, felt bad for the lady who called her out, she had noticed we had been stood there for a good 5mins and was trying to be helpful.
f. X.Click and collect order of a gate latch was wrong when collected, a cheaper latch was given although I had paid for a more expensive item. Then the pea gravel advertised was also not in stock even though the homebase website said 71 bags in stock. Ended up with a gate latch I didn't order and cheaper ( inferior ) gravel. One consolation was the staff, helpful, understanding, polite and friendly.
A. H.Limited choice (I needed pliers) but helpful staff and reasonable prices on what was available. Homebase is my local DIY store and they usually are able to provide me with what I need.
J. C.I went to click and collect to pick up my item. Was asked if I was c&c and then told to join the queue for the tills. C&c is separate from the queue to the tills! So while I was in the queue people that joined it after me were going straight to the tills while I'm waiting for c&c!! Not on to be fair, very disappointed!
J. D.Excellent customer service given by Paul, who went above and beyond in sourcing a BBQ that suited our needs. Very happy with our purchase. Highly recommend Homebase never felt pressurised or rushed despite being busy.
D. S.Honestly this homebase is great for a browse, but not really great if you have a specific requirement. Love the collection of cleaning stuff they have though. If I were to put it in words, it's more of a B&M than a B&Q. Nice to pop in and pick up the basics for DIY though as it's close by.
