I designed my bathroom here and I could not be happier. Peter was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He definitely met my expectations and still went above and beyond them. If I ever have to do a major renovation, will definitely do it here again with Peter!

Now I’m nearing 40 I feel I can go inside wickes. Staff are usually quite polite and getting the trade discount makes a difference as majority of stuff is more expensive than elsewhere. No quibble with refunds either which is good to know.

With big chain stores, their websites are either really good, with accurate store stock quantities or terrible. Based on 2 occasions of checking stock online before heading to the store. And being disappointed to find out, they didn't actually have either items in stock. I strongly recommend phoning them prior to travelling any distance. Other than this issue they are quite a well-stocked store with plenty to look at.

Went to get a power driver to help me as I have pains in my arms due to damaged nerves I had seen wickes own brand for £30 But needed a driver set but the store assistant was great advise me on what I was after and showed me a even cheaper item which is apt for what I need it for and it came with driver bits Very happy and pleased with both product and service

Great local diy place... But make sure you go in-store to select any timber you need as the stock can be quite poor and getting online delivery from Wickes nearly always ends up with you getting the left over timber that no one wants in-store.

Not as cheap as B&Q but Wickes is now my only local DIY store , B&Q closed our local store ... Wickes is ok but the quality of the wood can be very bad ... Make sure you go in store and choose the best timber for yourself..don't order online or they'll send all the timber no one else wanted....I speak from bitter experience.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO AMY RUFFLES IPSWICH BRANCH. Due to two delivery dates being cancelled, it meant delays in finishing mums bathroom ,which left 90yr old mum feeling very fraught. Amy was very understanding and, following phone calls and emails to head office, was able to get the missing item finally delivered. THANKYOU
