I have ordered twice in the last 10 days (we under estimated how much slate we needed the first time!). I am honestly so impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. We ordered 2 x 850kg bags of slate to do our front garden. The first time we ordered it got delivered less than 48 hours later. The second time - it was less than 24 hours! No faffing about, extremely efficient. Good value for money. Would recommend.

I've used B&ST regularly over the last 12 months. As a member of the public, and not a tradesman, I have always found the staff to be helpful and efficient. They have a massive range of building materials at decent prices. Their delivery service was excellent - everything arrived on time and was left where I wanted them. A go too for us at garnett fabrications for building materials for our none steel items. We have used b&ts for over 20 years. As a supplier they are very reliable.

1st visit. Great deal on kiln dried logs. Nobody else in but really efficient. Covid precautions in place; floor markings; screens at counter; contactless payment. To top it off, pick up after payment at rear of building and they loaded the bags into the boot of the car as part of the service. Highly recommended.

Great place, great prices, had to pick a few larger items up. Biggest disappointment was that staff and therefore some customers were not wearing face coverings as per law, nor was anyone challenged. Whilst appreciate it's a builders merchants, does this make them less susceptible to passing on the disease? Star removed for that reason and it wasn't a one off, as happened on two occasions

Good customer service , most things reasonably priced, just found they didn't stock a couple of things I expected them to have, so had to get them else where.
