I was recommended Daymans DIY Ltd, when I needed to fix my shoe cabinet. The store has everything u need for a DIY project at home, garden, office or anywhere. I had no clue what I needed and had a walk round the shop, a lovely guy (owner, maybe?) came to me and asked if I needed any help, which he was super helpful and friendly, even there was nothing he could find for what I needed (I was hoping an exact replacement part with same size and same shape) he suggested something for me to try and explained clearly to me how it might work. I bought what I was happy to try and the tools/parts did help with my shoe cabinet, just needed a little effort to fix. I’m so grateful for the guy who helped me, there was another guy behind the till at a time, who was nice & friendly too. As I mentioned, the shop has loads of everything for ur DIY projects, also garden 🪴 ornaments. They accept cash and cards. There was some free street parking outside the shop, or behind the street. Great shop, definitely recommend to others and will go back when I need anything for home improvement.

Absolutely brilliant DIY (Hardware) shop. The people who own and run it are just brilliant. 1st time I've used them and would definitely go back to them. I'd rather spend my money there that the big branded shops. Customer service is second to non, extremely helpful too. Definitely recommend using this shop to everyone.

Have driven by this shop many times but never actually called in! Phoned today about a Calor Gas cylinder and they offered to put one aside for me to pick up later. It looks as if they sell everything you could possibly want for DIY, and according to their website, if they don't have it in, they will try to get it for you. Really friendly, helpful staff and a competitive price too. Brilliant!

Love this friendly family run buisness. Had some great bedding plants there all thriving and beautiful. The guy who delivers is always happy and even brings things around to my garden. Orders are usually delivered on the same day too. I'm very happy with their service. Will definitely be using them again☺️

I've been going into Daymans DIY for 20 years or more steve and his team have always been 100% helpful, polite, professional etc in way possible and to be fair if they haven't got it stock then they will order it in for you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Daymans to everyone in Leicester and beyond and always do Forget the big chains these people are far better in every way. I love this family run business! Always there to help and go that extra mile . My marriage is doing really well thanks to Daymans ,because if I wasn't able to do diy during lockdown I hate to think what would have happened . I've been in quarantine for 2 weeks and Daymans have been delivering my diy supplies for free !! and no ( b4 you ask! ) the prices are not higher to cover the cost of free delivery .Infact these guys are cheaper in most cases than the big diy stores .. For me Daymans is my first choice when I doing work and the big stores are my last resort.! 100%👍

Proper old school DIY shop, with loads of stuff squeezed into small space. Staff all very helpful and often go the extra mile - a world away from what you often get in the big chain DIY barns. Some branded stuff like paint isn't especially cheap, but other things e.g. key cutting are ridiculously good value. Steady flow of customers whenever I'm in there, so I'm obviously not the only fan

Brilliant store. It may be small, but it's very well stocked. The main reason I keep going back is the staff, though - they are always friendly, honest and give great advice. Nothing is too much trouble and they clearly go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied.

A brilliant hardware store with a massive range of stocked goods. If not in stock they can get you pretty much anything in a short space of time (deliveries are available too). The staff are really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, so much better than the mass market DIY stores.

Excellent knowledgeable service with a smile. The shop is an Aladdin's cave complete with items hanging from the ceiling; the astonishing thing is how the staff know where things are! I took in a cutting list and Steve gave me advice on how to amend it ever so slightly and save a significant amount of money. Very pleased with that and the photo shows what I was buying for.

Often cheaper than B&Q and their goods are better quality. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

It's like the old DIY store we all remember from childhood that unfortunately too many have been wiped out by the big stores. Daymans seems to have everything that the big orange shop has but somehow squeezes it into a tiny shop. If you need anything they are always happy to help and advise. They also seem to be cheaper than other big stores too! A lovely shop run by lovely people.
