Russ the store manager is a absolute gem, he helped me find an extractor hood and went above and beyond all help and support, he even helped me add extra parts needed so I don’t have to come back again which is outstanding, he is just an outstanding gentleman and an asset to the company, god bless you

Wigston branch very helpful even though the on line app was showing what I wanted, was in stock, but quite obviously non of the staff could find it. So it was an 18 mile round trip to Thurmaston. "Result"

Wickes are really good at what they do. This store is extraordinary as it's got Richard B who really knows what it means to help customers and go the extra mile. A business is judged on how it handles issues (when it goes right we expect that and take it for granted!) I'll def continue to spend here!!

The Supergrill barbecue briquettes I bought yesterday from 8520 Wickes Thurmaston were sodden, soft and rank ......smelt very bad on opening probably a health hazard!!! Please refund and check remaining stock! Voucher being sent thank you.

Nice size shop and if all you need is there and you can take it away there and then fine. But if you need to order or get something delivered, give yourself st least an extra hour if not more... it is painful ( I went and did a Costco shop, walked back to get the car and load it and by the time I drove back my husband had finish ordering. Strongly suggest going to the the smaller Wicks on route to station.... it will be quicker.

Good range of building materials for most DIY tasks, let down by the poor range of power tools available , prices are reasonable to good, especially on some of the special offers. Car park quite small but ok provided you avoid peak times.

Tried calling ahead many times but no one would answer the phone. They only take debit and credit card payments and no cash . Yes you put a small sign up that is barely noticeable that's very poor. Other than that luckily they had what I needed in stock The whole point in calling you was to check stock availability rather than do it on the fly.

Drove ten miles to buy central heating programmer and two cans of paint which according to their website, this store had two cans in stock. Found the DCH programmers but unfortunately they were covered in RFID tags and security devices which made it impossible to read the technical specifications on the rear of the box so as soon as I got home became evident that this is not suitable so now I've got another ten miles round trip to return it. And as for the paint, yes you guessed it, they only had one on the shelf as opposed to the two shown in stock.

One of the newest wicks in town. It's very quiet hence I like shopping there. Can be bit confusing as some items you would expect to find in different sections and few items from same category are split and displayed to far apart from each other. Good level of customer service.
