Nice, not so little shop, I say that cos it goes way back from what you see at the front. Well stocked and with stuff you might not expect, you have your usual stuff for most DIY projects, plus general hardware and a reasonable amount of old style cookware items. You can pick up wood, stones, gravel, slabs, sand, cement.... If they ain't got they can order. Granted not stocked like B&Q so don't expect fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms on display. You want a widget.... But sell only in packs of ten or more, but you only need 1 or 2, this is the place for you. You can even buy handles for forks!

An amazing little D.I.Y shop the staff are so helpful and full of helpful little tips which can really help out, the prices are really good and they sell a huge range of things from stuff to your kitchen, paint, gardening supplies, plumbing pipes and pieces of wood to specialist tools and equipment. It's such a gem and it's such a practical shop to have, and a joy to have in the community.

An amazing Alladins cave a veritable treasure trove of amazing goodies. They really do seem to have things you'd not expect in a small town shop. In the event they don't have it they seem to be able to have it next day. They.just have a secret passage to somewhere . They are knowledgeable and helpful beyond even my expectations. If they don't know they'll say so but often know a man who does. They can even mix paint to match whatever sample I have turned up with. I've been going in for 12 years now and they're always.my first choice way ahead of the large stores. Always pleased to see me, or they at least put on a good face. Polite and helpful always. Paul Goodwin seems to have the knack of employing good looking pleasant knowledgeable helpful people for whole no effort is too.much trouble. I don't know who does staff training but an awful.lot of large companies could do with instructions of how to do it properly from them. I'm one very very grumpy old b**tard and they are excellent. I've never been grumpy after being there. The wonderful Camille works there too and shes a total ray of sunshine especially on a gloomy day.

Nothing is too much trouble, staff very knowledgeable and have huge stock, if by chance they don't have what you want will try there utmost to get it or offer van alternative
