Great store if you plan on doing some redecorating of your home or require some new soft furnishings ect. I like the choice of paint, wallpaper and a supply of garden essentials. There is also stationary, cosmetics and some small electronic appliances.

The 5 stars are not for Wilko as a Company (being that they also are pursuing the nonsensical path of dehumanising their stores: self-service cash registers?! Why?) but they are an award for the outstanding service provided by Jamie today. He was polite and very patient as I was after a very specific item that I had already bought 2 years ago, but could not find. He spent quite some time trying to help me and eventually succeeded. Top notch service from start to finish. THIS is what would ensure businesses to have a future: customer service and people helping people. Do not push the online orders only: without stores, retail is doomed.

I went because I was curious about that shop, I asked for an advice to paint my main flat door and one lovely lady was so passionate to explain and suggest me and explain to me (in her experience) what was the best options. Guess what? I now painted my door and it looks amazing. Not too gloss and not too matte. She spent 10 minutes explaining me the differences and answering every question I had. 12 out of 10 to her, very kind, nice and lovely. I will be back there for sure, to buy more things and to tell her my best thank you.

Very compact store with a variety of goods. Seem to cater for most tastes. Some good bargains to be had specially end season gardening products. Love the wine making equipment as well, quite a variety of starter kits to choose from and also beer making equipment. I can often find small electrical accessories in here also a large array of ironmongery. Helpful staff which is a bonus

Same drop in Wilko is £60 for curtains that aren't nearly as nice. Bit of a bummer but oh well, I won't be buying from Wilko when I can get cheaper at same quality elsewhere

Great value shop and should meet all your household needs! Got nitromors primer and paint for my front door. Touch plates / light switch surround at £1 each, a tube of ready mixed grout for my tiles and a replacement plug and the wee wire it swings on. Tap washers start at 80p for a multi pack too! If you really need it - wilko probably has it! Sanitiser at the entrance and a team member there counting as you exit and enter the store. Take cash if you don't want to use the self scanner ( but it is really easy to use and wiped after each sale)
