had a no photos sign up which is somewhat confusing, since photos of a good shop make me more likely to go! bigger on the inside than it appears (there is a basement level), stock just okay and prices rather high. granted this is considering the area but not a great range.

I highly recommend this store. The customer service at this hardware store is amazing!! They spent over an hour with me helping me choose handles for my internal doors. They suggested products that would be easiest to maintain and would work best for us and also did not push certain lines or price points. Great customer service.

A good place to find those small things you are looking for when you don't want to go to the big sheds. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and I can always find what I need easily. Best local hardware store. We need more businesses like these!

Bought a few mouse trap/ poison box from this place. The shop owner strongly recommended it (it was quite pricy) but I got it anyway as I was desperate. However, he didn’t seem to know how to use it and worst thing is that he didn’t catch the mouse at my house! Nonetheless, the shop owner had a good attitude.

This is my favorite hardware store in London. I’m an fine art student, I always come here looking for something for my works. And every time I can find what I want from here. Both the hosts are so friendly, they even help me to cut the PVC pipe, to check weather something is fit or not.

Great shop. I have been looking for fans. Been to few big shops but did not find any. I saw this shop and thought to try. I really surprised that I could find about 10 types of different fans, coolers and portable air con as well. I bought fans and very happy. Great customer service, I tried 2 - 3 fans. These guys are really cool. This is my one stop shop. Keep it going!

Great selection of all sorts of things for the home, from hardware to kitchen and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff too. The shelves are stacked full of items so it can be hard to find what you want but the man behind the till happily led me to just what I was looking for.

I moved house, fitted a new, top security lock to the door and needed extra keys. I got some from a branch of a national chain of keycutters and shoe menders. The keys didn't work. I went to a different branch of the same chain: they cut some more keys free of charge, but those keys didn't work either. Then I asked the expert at Jack's, and the keys he cut work just fine.

A ton of stuff in a small place. If you can't find it, ask Better yet, ask first and let them find it for you! My experience was good, although I didn't try to return anything. Heads up that they don't want you to use a bank card for a bill less than 5UKP.

Think this may have changed hands since earlier posts and is now called Jack's. Shop front looks a little different. We went in on a Sunday looking for rubble bags and were presented with at least 6 types by the attentive staff. This is one of those Alladin's cave shops where it is stuffed with everything might conceivably want or need. It was very well organised though and fun to browse. Think you'd struggle to ask for something that they didn't have. Didn't find it ridiculously over priced either.
