Love this place. The owner is really friendly and very helpful. I got some coaching on how to change my bathroom drain and waste gate and the guys walked me through the steps required. All good all the materials needed and managed to fix myself in 30min. 💪

Very handy local place. The owner is always friendly and helpful. I think it’s mostly a trade place and I’m not in the trade, but I still pop in quite often because the service is good (and because I live about 1 minute’s walk away!). Fairly small shop so they can’t hope to carry the range of Screwfix, Wickes, etc. but still recommended.

Yes, they have everything you could possibly need, but we love this place for the friendly helpful advice the staff offer! He left us feeling totally confident that we could plumb our new basin in DIY and when we were having a "crisis" later on he talked us through the solution over the phone. We highly recommend this shop!

I went on Christmas Eve looking for ‘a goo that I had seen online that I might need to remove my radiator’ (my exact words) and the man running the place was kind, patient and informative. Best of all, he told me he could sell me what I was after but that it wasn’t completely necessary - so I left feeling more confident and without spending anything. Highly recommend this shop, I will be back when my next plumbing crisis looms.

The best hardware shop around - 10/10. I came in with an unusual request for help with a broken hinge/headband on a pair of sound monitoring headphones. Not only did Wellworth’s great staff give me a load helpful suggestions as to how we’d go about fixing the hardware (including tips on sourcing the extra bits of metal needed from elsewhere) , they sorted me out with the perfect adhesive to finish the job. Will be using Wellworth for all of my future hardware issues - plumbing or otherwise ! ( they were 10 times more helpful than a music shop!)
