What an amazing variety of aquamarine life and goodies! The best ever! They have super healthy fish and exotic animals the cleanest tanks I have ever seen and prices that will shock you! An amazing setup and any fish lovers dream!

Wonderful place. Incredible selection of aquarium, fish, decorations, coral, plants - everything that you need to start up or enhance your love of fish. Staff are incredibly knowledgable and took us (complete beginners) through all the options, what is needed, how to start things off in the best way etc. Showed a genuine passion for what they do and a desire to keep customers coming back by making great initial choices. Lots of options for every pocket and size options. Dazzling array of colorful fish that kids and grown ups will love. We even found Nemo!!

Very dependent on who is there to help. I had good service but I once stood there while the shop keeper was feeding tanks, totally blanked me for 10 minutes until one of her friend walked in and got served immediately... I absolutely love shopping here. I'm always buying RO water for my shrimp tanks and I always have walk around the shop. The plants and decorations are lovely and I have a great time looking around. They have friendly knowledgeable staff and sell Marine, tropical and pond stuff. On the whole have a great stock and the fish and corals look well looked after and the tanks always look clean and bright. The only down side is they can sometimes be quite expensive. Not on everything, but particularly corals I have found their prices more inflated compared to other local shops. Definitely still worth a look as they are a large shop with a large variety of stock.

I left with a good impression from the store, I bought 7 ember tetras, and at home I've spotted a tetra without his 1 eyeball. I hope is not infection, and read online that still can live a long life with the others. I will monitor closely. Overall, a lot of items, good prices also, freshwater/ saltwater/ ponds- you name it. There is everything what you need for a new setup tank and not just. I recommend the staff also, they are there for you. Thank you.

Love this place! I'm an advocate of local, independent retailers and this place ticks my boxes. Do you want loads of choices on fish, kit and sundries? Do you want approachable, knowledgeable and friendly staff? Do you want to spend time browsing without being pestered? Do you want a loyalty card system? This place is for you! All of the display tanks look well maintained and the fish are generally lively and in very good condition. Best of all....... the "old school" feel of the place.

Excellent service from Ian, nothing was too much trouble. He spent a lot of time with me as giving advice about setting up my pond. He made me feel welcomed. I didn’t feel obliged to buy anything but due to the service and the helpful advice I purchased everything I need to set up my pond thanks to Ian. I only came in to have a look but now I will be back soon for my fish when everything is up and running. Great store.

Great variety of fish both marine and fresh water, a wide variety of equipment, treatments and food for maintaining an aquarium and overall clean and welcoming environment clearly demonstrating that the animals are well looked after. I didn't get much opportunity to speak to staff as I had limited time but going by everything I've already mentioned I imagine they have ample knowledge and experience to provide any advice for both novice and experienced fish keepers.

Hobby Fish is by far the most amazing aquatic shop around! The place feels like it goes on forever, much bigger than you would think. It has koi, tropicals and marines; with expert staff on each section! The staff have some of the best customer service I have ever come across. They are incredibly knowledgable and can answer any question you have, no matter how silly! I’m usually served by Sam and Ashley, two of the most wonderful employees ever. They never fail to help and will always go out of their way no matter what, and my kids love them. Even when the shop is busy on the weekends they try to help everyone. This family run shop is just a plethora of knowledge and assistance. Plus they have tonnes of dry goods and foods, anything you need. If you need help setting up a tank or pond or even a marine reef system this is the place to go! Sam and Ashley, keep doing what you are doing! Huge, with all types of fish (marine, tropical and pond) and prices (pocket money to scary - £650!! - but it was a Koi). The exotic pets were incredible (better than some zoos). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and good with kids. Absolutely worth a visit. (I'm saving the fifth star for a cafe/ drink/ sit down area, ideally with some fish type interactive distractions for kids, as this would give adults longer to "think" about what they might be tempted by).

Great service even when they seemed very busy. Measured my fluresant bulb and suggested great replacement and explained the different lights to me. And they have a huge range of stock for most aquarium needs (bulbs,pumps,pump replacement parts,decorative items,tanks and reptile stuff too. First visited the shop in 1982 to stock a tropical tank. Bought a marine set up from Hobbyfish in 2003. Jonathan was very helpful and explained how everything worked and walked us through the setting up and cycling process. Have been a regular customer ever since. When the pump failed on a Deltec Nitrate Reactor I tried to get one from Maidenhead Aquatics and Fathoms without any luck. Hobbyfish had an upgraded one off the shelf cheaper than the quotes I got from the other companies because there were no delivery charges. The shop is always well stocked and the bonus is the Price Promise so they are the same price as anywhere else. Always found the Staff very helpful and polite. The fish are all of excellent quality so I don't mind spending the little extra. The best LFS for miles.

GO TO "hobbyfish" store much better service than maidenhead aquatics(dobbies) in bletchley always helpful they even refunded a dead fish even when my nitrates were high. miltonkeynes (dobbies) i wanted to switch some fish bought daybefore, phoned ahead they said yes. walked in store 1st thing the scruffy looking manager in mid 40s says "we not taking them" pretty rude not even a hi or sorry we cant, then proceeds to say "there dead to me, dead livestock (fish perfectly healthy) were not refunding/switching", then i say they might die in my tank, he proceeds to say "i can take them and give them to my grandmom"? what a joke?same guy always in past condescending when i ask about advice (always blaming others),AVOID that shop never spending a penny on that shop again. GO TO "hobbyfish", dont go to a store that makes u feel bad for asking questions like maidenhead bletchley

Can you spot the fish? Very friendly staff who don't over sell. Great suggestion on which tanks to choose from and which fish are appropriate based on the tank size. My children even managed to exterminate 2 of the fishes (no idea how - i guess it is a learning curve) and the staff replaced those fishes.
