Best service! Couldn’t get my hands on timber decking with delivery anywhere. Popped down and they sorted me out straight away, found me a delivery driver and I got everything I needed right there and then for a really reasonable price.

I have used Quay Timber for various purchases over the past 4 years. The quality and availability of timber products here is very good and I have never had a problem getting what I need. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and, within reason, can usually find what you need. The cutting service were able to cut a sleeper to the exact size I needed for my project. The office staff were even able to give me a quote on fencing based on the size of my garden perimeter. Overall, if you’re looking for fencing, decking or other timbers for various projects you can’t go wrong with trying this firm first. No wonder it’s always busy.

All credit to Quay Timber for the supply of a profile matched small quantity of hardwood oak skirting. Ordered on Wednesday and machined to an exact match by Saturday. Will who produced the skirting knew I needed it by Monday so fitted it into the schedule so I could collect on Saturday. A great price and even better service for a Local Company

Bought some timber to build a raised bed. Staff in the shop were great, timber was delivered on time, I wasn't in when it was delivered but the delivery team carried it into the back garden which I wasn't expecting, I thought it would have just been left on the drive. The timber looks to be good quality, better than the stuff from DIY stores which I have bought previously. I would recommend this company.

I’m a stay at home mum who is giving DIY a go for the first time. I’ve been to Quay Timber a few times now to get supplies for garden furniture I have made. A few weeks ago I went to buy some supplies for making a horizontal fence. The team were really helpful advising on the best timber for the job (I would have liked cedar but I knew it would be expensive and the guys were really helpful helping me find a more affordable but still gorgeous alternative- redwood). I arrived on the day requiring some 160 pieces to construct my fence cut to various lengths. Nev was a total star and cut all pieces with meticulous precision and was happy to spend the time doing all the cuts for me in one go...it took quite some time! Getting the timber cut made it easier for me to transport in my family car 😊I am heading back there again soon to get the final pieces for my gate! Good quality product, really reasonable price and Nev a total superstar with lots of advice being offered on how and when best to seal my wood as he cut! Would definitely recommend them to other first time DIY-ers who need timber with some helpful tips and advice too 👍
