S. T.No help from the staff even after for an item. There were 2 near the entrance a man and a woman chatting. Asked me to go and check it out reading the sign posts. The store was quiet. I will not be going to this store, prefer the Gosforth one.
a.Ordered 7 bags of gravel and 7 bags of sub base,delivered next day by citysprint ,driver and mate very helpful off loading the goods into my garage for me, can`t fault !

A. B.We visited Wickes StamfordhamRoad store today, finding a member of staff was a problem, however after meeting Louis the young man on paints any problems we may have initially had disappeared. He advised us on the finish we required, how it would appear lighter than the required shade until it was completely dry. If all sales asistants were as polite, knowledgeable and professonal, life and decorating would be a dream.
P. S.Got what I wanted, and out in a matter of mins. It's a good DIY place, little more limited that others (stock etc) and perhaps caters a little more for trade customers, but good overall
A. b.This review is for Newcastle upon Tyne store. To be perfectly honest I was absolutely petrified to order a kitchen from Wickes after reading most of the online comments and reviews.
However, Wickes had everything I wanted from the kitchen: pantry, pan draws, wooden worktops, splashback, cargo style pull outs etc. So I decided to take a gamble. And it had paid off.
Big shout out to Andrew Walker for design, understanding of what I wanted and patience.
Massive thank you to Mark, Chris and Cameron for fitting the kitchen and doing an amazing job.
The customer service kept me up to date with emails and phone calls.
Wickes I couldn't thank you enough for this kitchen.

S.Have had delivery from wickes a few times but never again they have never got it right yet last time a tin of paint was missing when I asked driver where it was he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away .I am aware that he may have worked for a courier not wickes but he could have said that . when phoned the branch my goods came from they were so rude and actually tutted when I said i wouldnt be home the next day to except delivery of the paint and said no they could not deliver next weekend when I was home which is shocking when I had paid extra for a weekend delivery in the first place. As I say never again good products reasonable prices bad service and some downright rude staff .

P.A nice sized store, currently rearranged due to the pandemic but it's being handled really well. Trade entrance is the new entrance and there are markers on the Carpark. Inside it's easy to social distance and the queue has been marked clearly. Staff wipe down card machines and benches after each customer.

C. S.I rocked up at 4 on a Saturday evening and there were plenty of staff on hand to lend advice. The store is spacious and well laid out and the selection of goods they have is great! If you don't k ow what you need you can get a great idea just browsing the place.

S. L.Difficult to navigate your way round. I was looking for flooring chipboard and was told it was out of stock. Computer also confirmed this. Found 2 pallets worth of the stuff on my way out by sheer chance.
