P. M.This Wilko's is over 3 floors. Floor 1 is cleaning products, pet food, sweets, soap, shampoo etc. Second floor is kitchen things pot pans plates. Lighting, gardening and fancy vases imitation flowers and stuff like that. Then the top floor is DIY and a small cafe. I have not used the cafe but its normally got a few people in.

This shop has a lift to gain access to floors for so many different items. I personally never used the lift but saw many people in need fund the lift was useful. I always feel so welcomed by the staff there. They are extremely helpful. Not once I had disappointment from their service. They work very hard to keep the floors running.

L.This is my favourite Wilko outlet. I've been shopping here for paint, tools, blinds etc for years. The prices are competitive and the DULUX paint is usually cheeper than the larger DIY stores. The paint brushes, trays and other things such as builders cork and silicon fillers are well priced too and if you want a real bargain they also do their own line of products (some of which I have been completely satisfied with).
The staff are approachable, friendly and accommodating (although you may need to track them down on busy days).
Overall it's worth a visit (especially if you find it difficult to get to a larger DIY store). They also do home-ware, textiles and garden products including lawnmowers etc (why not take a look at the catalogue whilst you're there). They quite literally do just about EVERYTHING for the home ....
Pop in and take a look. If you're anything like me you'll come out of there with a mountain of bags and end up having to call a TAXI to take you home ☺️
I recommend this store 100% to family and friends.

B. V.This is quite big store. Lots of options for the home essentials needs ranging from the kitchen utensils, cleaning things, curtains, pillows, duvet, bed sheets, doormats, hoover, etc. Rates are very competitive and quality is good. Some option like very unique like special detergent for cleaning woollen clothing. I am using it for the last 2 years. Very effective. Also, I love the colourful bagh bombs, shower gels. Etc.

g.It always feels spacious rather than some shops that you use who are now dropping the height of their shelves. The restaurant is reasonably priced and with a mix of very nice food. Price wise on general goods I find wilko to be better than most and have a decent coverage. The only niggle I have is there Newcastle shop cash machine which has been out of action for a few weeks now. But overall a very good shop to use and helpful staff.

A. H.I always love going to Wilko for little bits and bobs! When I don't have the energy and time to venture to the big shops, Wilko is always a go to place for me, especially when I'm looking for small home furnishings and little bits for DIYing at home. Their prices are reasonable and there are a good range of choices for products you prefer or would want to try out. I love their seasonal aisles and the quaint corner at the back of level 1 with things for the kitchen and storage solutions!

L. P.Wilko is a wonderful place. I always stop by for a variety of household items and although based in the middle of the city. It has a wide rang of items for DIY and gardening. Generally good quality items at a low cost.

Soon, I went to CeX and looked at dvds, then I realised my autism son was missing, I look everywhere, and when I looked into wilko, I saw my son eating kinder surprise in the store! M. H.Wilkos is a value for money homewares store, very reasonably priced. I've bought all sorts from here, cleaning wares, kitchen wares, toiletries, paints, decorating supplies, garden stuff. Very popular with every demographic from OAPs to Students studying at the universities.
G. R.I held of on buying energy efficient bulbs from Tesco as it seemed a bit steep. Wilko surprised me with 3x candle led bayonet bulbs for £5.50! Glad I waited an extra day!
c. j.You will find some good bargains in store and you can get all sorts in there that you need from tools and plumbing equipment and pipes but not much of what you get at a plumber's store but what you need to do the small jobs and screws and for the kitchen cooking utensils and kettles and microwave ovens and you can get bedding sets and bedding and towels and sweets and drinks and snacks and you can even get stuff to do the cleaning and laundry and you can get pet food and stuff for your pet's.

B.Ridiculously large branch, didn't have a clue that it spanned over so many floors. 3 or 4 at least?
If for no other reason than the sheer size there is a huge amount of variety in products to choose from. Even compared to other Wilko stores.
Perhaps the only letdown is the lack of staff at any given time. Maybe I was there at a particularly busy period (students coming to Newcastle for the first time?) but it took an incredibly long time for three members of staff to serve no more than 5 people.
