Reviews of B&Q Northampton
Y. B.
First time in B&Q Northampton today, the shopping atmosphere was relaxed, and the staffs are very patient and helpful, especially Ambor, the lady who served me. I will recommend my friend to come. Good job, Ambor, and the team!
S. S.
Has a great selection of everything. Prices quite high, you can find everything cheaper elsewhere. Not always has stock in. I've been looking for plaster, so instead of board plaster I had to buy multi purpose plaster. It's fine, but for such a big shop you expect better.
s. S.
We had so many awkward and discounted plants we were at a loss what to do with ourselves. That was until Karen came along to help on the tills and sorted us all out. What a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for us. So thank you Karen you're awesome ❤️
M. B.
Great efficient service brought way to much sand cement and balast for our project brought on line delivery returned in store no problem friendly staff
T. p. (.
Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent service in the kitchen department 5 star to them.
But being of that age who needs the loo more often it was a shame the toilets are closed. Not good for a store that sells toilets but has non to use.
N. B.
Really great experience; wish I'd got the assistants name since he was a credit to customer service: period. Full marks for all aspects, attention, guidance, advice and product knowledge.
C. B.
Just needed some paint and the staff there were quick helpful and knowledgeable about the product.
M.
Large B and Q compared to others I have visited. It has just about anything you would need. It was a little hard to find everything I was after, but the staff were helpful in pointing me in the right direction.
L. V.
Big thank you to Lisa in the Paints department! Her customer service was excellent, and she helped my partner and I pick the perfect paint colour and saved us a lot of time! Thanks again Lisa! X
E. W.
Lots of parking. An Aldi next door and bit further a Lidl. Not busy. No queues. Quite pricey the bit I wanted so ordered from ebay.
K. S.
When I visit, it is difficult to find a member of staff. Also I have on occasion asked where a certain item is, which I have seen online & they say they don't stock it. Not all staff are like this though.
M. G.
Great service and friendliness from a lovely lady in the bathroom department today. Impressive product knowledge too! Thank you.
j. m.
Good selection of items available. Very helpful staff and adequate parking space
j. h.
Had a very good experience with customer service as a part I purchased wouldn't fit and money returned very quickly. Well done B&Q
g. r.
Big thanks to Lisa in the paints department! She was extremely helpful and assisted us in finding the perfect colour for our lounge. Excellent customer service and very friendly.
A. D.
Large store, free parking, they have pretty much everything you need. If you don't find it online for click and collect, still visit the store as I've found stuff in store even though not listed. Also definitely register for the club card. You get vouchers for £5, £10 off when you spend £50 , £100 on the next purchase. Handy if you are planning a large project. Unlike other DIY stores they stock tiles, plaster boards, skirting, wood trims and blocks that you can pick up immediately. Prices are a little higher than smaller stores but the vouchers and convenience make up for it I feel
a. d.
All good.
Some stock missing of course, as we have to expect in these post Brexit days, now exacerbated by the Ukraine War, and prices of some items have jumped by 200% as a result. Prices of sheet timber materials are unbelievable.
At least the store seems to be working properly once again.
N. H.
Good sized shop, lots of bits,( so husband said), good well looked after plants.
B. M.
Staff very helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble
J.
Great paint selection and Tony was very helpful
D. M.
Had a great experience in B&Q. Had to hire a carpet cleaner and they were so good. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hire fees were low and the queues were short which was great. The whole experience was quick and easy.
We were also able to recycle our old used/broken light bulb(tube) as they have a recycling bin for these in store! Awesome!
R. K.
Great service and they had everything I needed
A. B.
Easy location staff very helpful with products quick and simple store in and out
M. N.
Couldn't actually order what I wanted online but, went into the shop, found it and a couple of other things gone in 15 minutes, job done.
I. B.
Planning a project so needed prices. Did make a purchase with no hassle and no queues.
J. G.
Not much choice of work tops to take away,, better places to buy from. Work top express etc , ,,
B. B.
Made a return flowing a recent purchase, very helpful and friendly.
A. H.
Good range and variety of products, most staff knowledgeable
R. K.
I had little expectation of finding an adhesive that would repair my industrial shoes, being of the bonded soul to upper type. Obviously needing to be the flexible and waterproof.
Eureka! They had just the right one and saved the day. No wet feet anymore.
D. G.
Never had what I wanted bit good priced plants
H. C.
Shame they closed car park bit at side of b and q I always used to park there no problems last few trips finding a space has been abit harder.
R. B.
Did a click and collect. Had a 2 year with me and was collecting 25 boxes of tiles.
It was quick and the 2 girls serving were very polite and helpful. They helped getting the 2 trollies to my van and waited with my toddler as I loaded them on.
Great service and as I am new to the Northamptonshire area I am really pleased I used them.
Will definitely use B and Q at Northampton again.
B&Q take note, you have some great staff at his store so look after them!!
D. W.
This is one of those stores that 'shrank' loads a few years ago and worse for it, reasonable range but be careful on prices, some things are actually very competitive, others far cheaper shopping around, seem to be obsessed with hundreds of the same cheap lampshades rather than a good range, some departments just seem better managed than others.
G. C.
Clean, organised and sell everything. Any large shop used to send me mad but now they have added the aisle numbers and location to the website its a breeze to find what you need. Although always loads of helpful staff to show you where it is. All round good store that's been there for years.
w. g.
Easy to navigate around and staff are helpful, polite and joyful
A. S.
Good place despite the prices are increased. So they will lose their customers.
L. G.
Used to be fantastic but does seem to have gone down hill
C. B.
Tidy shop. Good selection. Reasonable prices
D. W. N.
Huge selection and real good prices to boot...
A. E.
Good place if you know your way around. Not all that easy to get staff help. Some veteran checkout people very good.
P. H.
As usual, had what I needed in stock and good value.
G. P.
Not the range they used to have and pricy
S. M.
Staff are helpful although lady at the door at the moment comes across as bossy. Store has a lot of products and it seems quite well laid out. Customer Services desk isnt easily identifiable which is a pain if you have an issue.
Parking can be a problem on busy days. The entrance to the store seems busy with all of the items available and the number of people sorting out their hands etc.. If youve not been to the store for some time then the actual entrance can be confusing as theres a trade entrance and a Joe Public entrance.
The roundabout that the car park comes out on can get quite hectic so just take care when leaving.
I would go back again, its a nice store.
G. M.
Good parking, carries a good stock of everything.
R. 2.
Slightly smaller than what it used to be before ALDI moved in. But you can find pretty much everything diy. I just don't see the point of having TradePoint there as B&Q prices work out cheaper ➕ you get discount codes from the previous purchases.
Car park is ok and there are plenty of spaces.
Thank goodness there are no more self checkouts tills.
Staff is friendly too.
It is handy to have timber cutting services along with key cutting too.
P. W.
Called in to buy a couple of folding crates, they were easy to find. Had a quick browse round, as the store was not too crowded. Very short queue at till.
A. E.
Staff very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. Only problem i have is the store being so big. Good idea to supply elderly customers with electric wheelchairs!
D. S.
A sizeable store, it has most of the things you need showing a few lines out of stock. However on this recent occassion the one way system in the car park caused significant delays with access and egress and despite undertaking all my shopping on click and collect it would have been genuinely quicker to have purchased them in store and queued for the cashier as that was working well. Meanwhile click and collect there were significant delays with those ahead and i sat for 35 minutes waiting to be seen. When i was, my order was to big to collect there and then and had to wait at a set of double doors further in store. Once given my order i then couldn't get out of the store as i was no longer in the queue system and had to ask a cashier to let me through who seemed very confused. Some systematic issues today to what usually works well. Some of the floor managers seemed unaware of what does and doesnt work.
S. A.
Let down by their bad assistance for those with disabilities. Toilets have been closed for some time and it can be a challenge to get to use staff toilets
In this, some staff shine, some of the female staff particularly who seem to empathize more with the needs of less able people. Some of the men can be too blokey.
They don't help at all when there is a queue. Only option I was given was to queue or leave by the lady on the online orders till. I left as I'd no energy left.
P. P.
Standard B&Q store. Nothing much to right home about.
They also say that they price match.
I tried today to price match Ronseal wood filler but was told they can't match the price as it was from Screw fix.
My advice would be to check both which are Kingfisher companies and buy from the cheaper which is normally Screw fix.
A. O.
The store its self is great nice and big lots to look at.
however I needed to use a wheelchair and it was awful there was something wrong with the front wheel which made it very hard to push.
I tried doing it myself but I just kept going round in circles. please service the wheelchairs.
G.
Saved me with quick set cement when nowhere had any due to stock shortages.
Till staff are a bit like robots though, lights are on but no one's at home.
C. L.
Big, easy to access, clearly marked aisles.
G. A.
Great place to buy anything you require whilst making your house your home
B. O.
Usual great selection of goods. Taking cash again which helps. Excellent strategy for keeping us safe during Covid as long as customers follow the rules, which they did on my visit.
S. G.
Quiet day but still queues at the tills
C. L.
It has everything you need for house and garden DYI kind of stuff.
G. R.
Comprehensive range of DIY and garden products.
D. M.
I found what I was looking for with a bit of help from the staff. One star off for having their wood saw broken for the 2nd week in a row. If it's mostly broken they should stop advertising they have one
d. g.
Lots and lots of stock and choice loads of parking plenty of helpful staff if you need them you can not go wrong with this branch 10/10 experience
L. N.
Staff were very helpful and friendly even when my Dad was being awkward and chasing a discount on his Christmas tree
S. S.
Yeah, not many staff on the floor to what I could see to ask questions but again good stock
P. C.
As always, everything you need for a diy weekend although very low on some items you'd expect them to have plenty of. Covid restrictions only impacting the queue for checkout and no self serve option since covid restrictions were put in place. 👍🏼
r. h.
Omar was very helpful in loading 10 33kg bags of compost from pallet to my car
n. w.
Good availability - though Web site stock info somewhat behind actual position when enquiring. Prices OK - staff and service really good. Range really extensive.
P. K.
It's ok. Bigger than most in the area.
R. H.
Store wasn't over crowded but since they have reduced the size of the store the selection has greatly reduced it seems to concentrate on large ticket items garden furniture spas kitchens etc. The small fittings and fixtures have reduced
P. F.
Nice store znd range, team nice
A. W.
Well it's been a while since I've been here and what a difference the moody staff been replaced with happy cheerful staff only to eager to help.
K. M.
Went March 2021. Feel though car parking layout could be better. Big store so takes a while to navigate and to find a single item. May have a wait at check out
T.
A perfect place to grab DIY stuff.
L. R.
Good variety of stuff but always more expensive than other stores.
Great customer service in store. Nice staff.
J. W.
Visited the store for a few plumbing bits and to check out lights. A good range of lights, very reasonably priced. The plumbing supplies area was a little empty and we struggled to find what we came for. We chose a substitute as there was no stock of the item, but saying that the substitute worked better than expected.
M. B.
Difficult to navigate or find a particular item easily, great range all the same.
E. C.
Helpful staff they had what we went for and bonus the firepit we've been after was finally in stock.
G. T.
You have all you need include free car park.Staff is very polite and helpful.
I don't think 5 stars are enough 😉
K. S.
Just visited the Northampton store. Looking for painting and decorating gear. Sam in the paint department could not have been more helpful. She advised on different paint options, including odour and cleaning. Excellent service. Thank you.
j. w.
Well stocked can see the prices on the stock. Prices to suit most pockets, helpful staff and as far as I know, no quibbling on returns. Spacious, wheelchair friendly with staff to help.
A. B.
Got everything you need for that weekend job.
S. A.
It was going fine and then disaster fell. I got caught short and the toilets were not open. Understandable due to pandemic but I had to leave my goods
m. l.
Clean store but staff looked un happy
G. T.

T. P. P. &. E.
Great store... Helpful staff, which is what makes this branch stand out x
J. E.
Has Everything u may need but Prices are High, other than that, staff are very helpful, everything very clean and spacious.
R. B.
Good selection on garden tools at competitive prices
R. 2.
Slightly smaller than what it used to be before ALDI moved in. But you can find pretty much everything diy. I just don't see the point of having TradePoint there as B&Q prices work out cheaper ➕ you get discount codes from the previous …
J. D.
Very good stock of everything the handy person needs. Good parking
B. S.
Helpful and friendly staff and efficient service.
We couldn't get everything we wanted. C'est la vie.
M. C.
It is very good to do online shopping and to have it delivered,
S. J.
Good selection, reasonable prices
A. w.
Today we went to B&Q for our flooring and we didn't have a clue what we were doing. We asked for help from a member of staff in the flooring department.
His name is Chris, he was delightful and helped us through the whole process with what we needed, measurements and more. He was so patient with us and he was so charming and funny. What a refreshing change to other department store staff. He made our experience hassle free, just a delight.
We will definitely be returning
Thank you Chris, Thanks B&Q
O. R.
Quite a helpful young man in the kitchen department. New-ish lad with red hair. Think he worked at a phone shop before B&Q. Was pretty much perfect in terms of information and design. Cant remember his name but decent bloke. Dad was a lorry driver haha. That's all i can remember. He basically made our trip to B&Q a good one, and highlighted how poor Homebase was.
T. W.
Everything is well managed. Stock is usually full. Loads of choice. Good prices. Staff always helpful no matter how busy they are.
S. K.
Nice large unit. Plenty of spaces for parking although it can get slightly busy on weekends. Occasionally find it difficult to find floor staff to ask a question but they are all very friendly and helpful. The store doesn't offer contactless payment option which in this day and age is unacceptable. Shows where (or lack of) they invest to improve customer experience. Good town centre location.
M. S.
Awesome customer service today, had a faulty (so I thought) Julie Garland, took it back and easy exchange
J. B.
Fairly large store- has all of the essentials- lovely bright (cant lose them) garden secateurs from burgeon and ball in stock
B. S.
Helpful and friendly staff and efficient service.
We couldn't get everything we wanted. C'est la vie.
P. J.
There's an assistant who greets you at the entrance where you can use sanitizer before entering. It's such a big store that staying apart is quite easy. Sensible queuing at the tills as well makes the B&Q shopping experience a doddle.
S. W.
😷-typical B+Q-pretty much anything you could possibly need for your home or garden-although I do find some items a bit on the expensive side.🤔
Used to be able to rent a van by the hour from B+Q-not sure if they still offer that facility! 😊
P. W.
A busy store with well organised queues at the checkouts to minimise delays. The shop stocked everything we wanted during this visit.
S. O.
Good formula but with the net competition around prices are looking expensive. (Their subsidary in France "Castorama" has ridiculously expensive prices) Have found almost everything I have ever looked for in DIY. They have a policy of employing some older (ex-retirement) staff who are some of the most knowledgeable and courteous around. Well done, but could do better.
A. P.
Purchased all building materials we needed to complete our recent move.
Good stock, helpful Staff, Competitive prices.
Returned a vac last week that simply was not as good as we had expected.
No quibble refund.
M. M.
Great service from Paula & Rob who searched their warehouse for the tiles I wanted, unloaded them and put them on a trolley ready for me to collect. Well done B & Q.
N. B.
Served by Charlotte in Kitchens late tonight nothing was too much and she advised and made sure I went away with everything including the kitchen sink! Great product knowledge for someone working part time
after school and only been there for 3 months. Injured as well after a fall on the ice and hobbled every where in the store with a smile.
A. W.
Incredible atmosphere - humming with opportunity with staff primed like coiled springs to offer assistance. Can't wait until I require a top up if rawl plugs or garden twine to have an excuse to get back there ❤️ #blessed&q
C. C.
Great service on the trade desk
J. N.
The best DIY in land
R. B.
Busy on a bank holiday Monday morning but fast checkout with plenty of helpful staff on hand ✋
D. W.
Better choices today they do need to separate stuff that is out of date though but had everything I needed
F. O. F.
I recommend to make plans in advance for what you need to buy and visit multiple times to look for sale
J. D.
Wide range of products but some of the staff can be rude.
M. M.
Helpful, polite and informative
A. M.
Everything you need in one place always worth looking around as can find the items cheaper but for convenience it's worth the extra £
M. W.
Very well organised. Queue seemed to move quite well. We arrived at 10.30 Saturday morning. No more then 10 minutes queue. An hour later queue was 4 times longer.
L. V.
Great selection of home improvement items, many offers in store and competitive prices. Good social distance rules and hand wash stations,
K. “. S.
Staff wasn't very helpful in the product I needed, just sent me to the aisle and that was it, slow moving queue for tills until they added more people to open up more, plus got to walk around quite a bit to even find a staff member.. .
J. E.
Has Everything u may need but Prices are High, other than that, staff are very helpful, everything very clean and spacious.
C. W.
Make sure you get there nice and early as there are really long queues if you wait. I was there at 8 and got in within 5 minutes. Store is well laid out clear markings and staff clearly available help.
A. F.
Very well organised store, felt safe and controlled and plenty of staff about to help which is great these day.
E. K.
If you like to be busy, always making and fixing something from gardening stuff, to tools, carpets, painting etc .. It's the best choice for those who like new
P. S.
Good customer service, been there ask where was what I looking for and the BQ employees are awesome 👏😉
V. F.
Went in for special light bulbs and the girl I spoke to was very helpful
B. C.
Adam was very helpful cutting my sheet of MDF for me. The wood cutting machine is such a great service to be able to use. Cheers Adam!!
S. A.
Moved things around but plenty of choice
P. P.
Just like any other B&Q around the country.
Nothing special to write home about.
Some items cheaper at Screwfix which is owned by the same company.
Suggest you check your prices at both Web sites first to see who's the cheapest
A. H.
Good range and prices the layout is a bit to get used to but overall a good experience, plenty of staff around to ask for help. Kitchens not as easy as it used to be compared to online representation but I guess once you understand the process it's ok.
T. S.
Clean and tidy as it's a remodeled store. Very helpful young lad at the checkouts. However, no cassiers at the checkouts, so only scan and pay was available at that moment. Prices seem to be even higher than at Homebase but if you want some choice and space to think and look around it's worth to chose B&Q.
e. s.
Found everything I wanted apart from bedding, they used to do really nice quilt covers.
K. K.
Always find what I need
C. H.
Does B&Q stand for Buy and Queue? Good selection of DIY items in a well laid out store. You dont get the friendly service found in family run businesses but you do get a wide range of items. I always seem to have to queue more than i would like here.
a. A.
Bought wallpaper for kitchen, reasonable cost.
g. b.
I used the click and collect. Fast, affective and staff are really helpful. Great work and keep it up.
a. f.
Good store for DIY, and professional
K. C.
Had a lovely chat with these nice ladies and they dealt with my collection and purchases without any hustle. Excellent customer service!
M. S.
Well as we all know B&Q Northampton has always been massive which means you need an afternoon to find items. Okay now Aldi has taken some of the space which does mean finding car parking is more challenging. I visited at lunchtime today, Sunday and it was busy. Bought a clearance mower which I phoned up and reserved because the display model was only one left. I was given a further discount so came back smiling.
T. P. P. &. E.
Great store... Helpful staff, which is what makes this branch stand out x
S. L.
Big shout out to Dawn, who saw me about to pay for a load of tiles, literally took my credit card out of the machine to help me out, gave me some great advise and saved me over £60!
Thanks Dawn, you're a star and an asset to the store
T. D.
I get there before 8:00 on Saturday, waiting in the queue 10 minutes, it was quick. But at 9:00 no queue. Staff was friendly and helpful ! Got everything what I wanted.
M.
all good all be it you do still get the not my department when asking some of the staff at times which is almost to be expected
T. H.
Amazing member of staff in Tucker. Helped me out of a tricky situation. Couldn't have been more helpful, I made a rookie mistake and he helped sort it. Thank you
L. A. P.
This place have a friendly family feel to it. I'm a regular with a trade card. Always feel welcomed.
M. G.
Has everything you need for renovating or anything, great store!
J. G.
Took sometime to find what I was looking for - but all good in the end.
P. R.
Despite covid restrictions i was able to shop safely and quickly. Helpful staff with good product advice.
M. F.
Very pleasant staff but not matched by my requirements for what I was looking for.
J. D.
Very good stock of everything the handy person needs. Good parking
c. s.
Didn’t have what I wanted so ordered on line from Amazon for next day.

Z. S.
Its a massive store with pretty much everything you need to kit your house out! They have also got a good covid system
R. P.
A very pleasant lady doing meet and greet on arrival, excellent checkout staff.
#.
Got to my local store, looking for some help and all the staff that I managed to find was very helpful. I found what I was looking for, and also collected the kitchen wall unit I had ordered the day before. The lady of the counter was very cheerful also very helpful.
G. R.
Large DIY store largest selection in Northampton. Prices can be attractive but need to be compared. Discount card has lost its appeal with new conditions.
S. W.
Actively reinforced mask and hand sanitation. Store seems well stocked. Waiting to pay quick and easy. As good as it could be.
M. d. c.
Seems well organized now. One asy systems & plenty of staff on hand to direct & assist. Lacking in stock in quite a lot of areas though
V. W.
Very helpful staff and there is a good choice of products. The paint section is excellent.
E. L.
Very helpful staff, well organised procedures and price for my specific item was surprisingly less than I had expected.
J. S. S.
Easy to locate items, helpful staff.
C. E.
Love the store. Shame they don't do dulux mixing anymore. Valspar covers like water, just not to standard.
B. P.
Plenty of DIY materials and Lighting out side good selection plants
J. m.
Went in to see their showers not much if a choice, 2 like walk on showers and the rest small corner units
D.
There is never enough people on the floor to help people with their questions. When you do find one they are usually very helpful. Loads of plants dying due to not watering. Such a waste.
T. S.
Very nice staff here. Very helpful and happy, even though they are under a lot of pressure with the covid restrictions.
K. P.
Great hardware shop. Some things you can get cheaper but over all this place is great selling array of products.
J. S.
When I phoned last night to check stock Lee physically checked stock and came back to me Very rare sadly these days !!! And again today when collecting mathew on trade point very helpful and professional.100% better than the experience at the mk store yesterday thanks
K. H.
Huge store .. huge range of products. But plumbing advice only available Tuesdays and Saturdays.
N. B.
lack of collaborators to support the customer if you have questions or cannot find a product.
J. m.
Went in to see their showers not much if a choice, 2 like walk on showers and the rest small corner units
A. R.
A LOT smaller unit than it used to be but most departments are well stocked
M. D.
Great for all those DIY bits and more
H. M.
Plenty of stock and perfect for diy. Look out for ideas on their website.
P. J.
There's an assistant who greets you at the entrance where you can use sanitizer before entering. It's such a big store that staying apart is quite easy. Sensible queuing at the tills as well makes the B&Q shopping experience a doddle.
K. S.
Just visited the Northampton store. Looking for painting and decorating gear. Sam in the paint department could not have been more helpful. She advised on different paint options, including odour and cleaning. Excellent service. Thank you.
J.
Great shop. Always a good experience.
K. B.
Great place easy to park and a varied cholce of every item in the store
W. K.
Staff helpful and friendly, range a bit depleted in some key areas, but overall a good range.
S. A.
They know they're one of the few left for DIY in town and as such they don't feel like they make the effort they used to stocking shelves which is a great shame as it's forcing us online
L. K.
Great customer service!!
C. W.
Brilliant service as ever. Keeping us safe and today observing the 2 minute silence 23 March 2021
G. C.
Its b & q. If you know what you need, it's great. If you're trying to get ideas it can be a little daunting
L. H.
Good just got what I wanted didn't queue long at tills
T. D.
We got just what we wanted, when we wanted, through very helpful and friendly staff members.
A. P.
Has everything you,for decorating and DIY,easy to move around.Well signed to look for products you need
B. K.
Watch out for items that are stated as trade but not necessarily in the Trade area. You will be charged 50% more for some items. Otherwise a very nice efficient store with easy parking and pleasant staff.
J. C.
I am a B&Q RCC delivery driver who unfortunately had the serious misfortune of a serious fall and injury falling from my truck, I would like to thank them publicly for there medical attention and the all out effort to get me to Northampton A&E hospital for treatment what a wonderful team of staff this store has
R. B.
Good selection on garden tools at competitive prices
S. H.
Excellent had just what we wanted and we saved money too
T. K.
The well stocked B&Q store in Northampton Far Cotton area stocks DIY goods, the store has a very wide and varied number of products all are of a high quality, the staff are very competent and go out of their way to assist and advise.
K. H.
Huge store .. huge range of products. But plumbing advice only available Tuesdays and Saturdays.
L. C.
Brilliant service from Darren the Assistant Manager! Really helpful and professional. Recommend using this store, service is excellent.
M. C.
Can't say I was overly impressed the place looks a little ramshackle and the shelves are bare of a lot of the essential things, staff can be a little surly.
N. B.
lack of collaborators to support the customer if you have questions or cannot find a product.
A.
Good for all your odd job needs, and your professional needs, can be a bit slow serving people, as quite often staff hang around talking to each other
H. S.
Good place to go. Not always got what you are looking for. Average prices. Till s can be busy at peak times. Self service tills are handy.
R. S.
This store has been transformed since the refurb, it’s clean, tidy and bright, superbly well stocked and every staff member I spoke to were friendly and efficient, full marks fully deserved!
S. F.
Love the store but unable to help me this time.
g. b.
A lot smaller now than before but a good range of goods
M. J.
Had a problem with my kitchen doors after only being installed 3 months ago. The young lady and manager of the kitchen department were very helpful and resolved the issue.

It is in a very good location with other shops around it and they do have some good bargain. If you are over 60 you can get 20% on a Wednesday if you have an over 60 card. You can get this from B&Q.

I do like B&Q but not a fan of massive stores. You go in for one thing and you can be there for a good hour or more 🙈

B&Q is the place to go when you need sand or desperate for something. Too often, too expensive and screwfix is much better vfm to buy things.
