T. O.Generally well stocked B and Q, not as big as riverside, but still has all the usual stuff you need including a garden centre element. Design team are really helpful but you can find it difficult to get more general help with quite a few staff not knowing where to find things!

However...
Online stock check is completely unacceptable and woefully inadequate. The 2 items I wanted (2 different sized pieces of wood), both stated as in stock, one 12 of, the other 147 of... But neither had any in their respective 'bay'... Managed to walk away with one piece almost as intended, after helpful assistance, but had to spend more on the 2nd... And ultimately, both too long...
I had also been checking stock for 2 days prior, and it now makes sense that the stock levels remained constant...
1/5 of the way through this 21st century, and cannot accurately show stock levels...

d. s.When we eventually found someone to help us he was brilliant. I didn't get his name. I hope this doesn't sound bad, he was a black guy with glasses, this is the only way I can describe him, as like I say I didn't get his name, but he was very helpful. I think you need to get more staff on the shop floor though, there was people just standing there, on the tills because there was nothing for then to do.

F.The team are handling COVID-19 very well, we had to wait before we could enter the store which is fine considering everything going on, staff at the entrance were constantly telling people it’s card only no cash and then when you get in, there is just the right amount of people to ensure it isn’t risky for everyone’s health.
A good visit, stock was good, staff serving incredibly quickly so no complaints here.

J. L.I went to get some diagrams for the toilet fill valve. I took the old one and asked some of the staff for help as I needed two replacements. The staff were unhelpful and vague about what I needed help with, they didn't give clear answers and they looked as if they didn't know their job. I was mislead as they gave me the wrong type and said it would be fine. I had to drive all the way back the day after to give them back, and I live a bit far from the place!!
D. H.Covid measures in place, it was busy but safe. Bought some plants in the sale area (good deals) unfortunately no work trousers in stock in the size required.
J. W.Always helpful...not always up to speed on product knowledge. Less than a handful of staff with useful specialist knowledge. However if I need plumbing advice I ask Maurice who knows his onions...and for product knowledge or to track down a specific product answer I'll ask Caroline...both of these very knowledgeable staff are long serving B&Q. The overall team are pretty helpful as a rule. Hopefully B&Q will improve their trade terms and our trade cards might then offer a meaningful discount across the ranges.

T. L.Fairly large b&q selling ranges from kitchens, bathrooms, garden equipment and funiture, paint, lights and all your DIY essentials.
The staff are always on hand if you have any questions and they do try and point you in the right direction of what you need. They always seem friendly and approachable.
I find some things a bit pricey in there but the majority is on par with the other big stores.
Free onsite car park within the retail park is a big plus.
I also enjoy the membership scheme which gives me money off vouchers every now and then.
C. F.It was a decent trip to BnQ. My father needed me to change the baterry in his Car key fob, he needed the 2032 batteries to be exact and the men in the store were over the moon to tell us qhere they were (by the tills).
O. M.B &Q staff are always friendly and happy to help, really useful when you're in such a huge store because it's not always easy to find what you need, the store is well organised though, there's just so much stuff!
Prices are good for brand items, but for own brand stuff I think it's quite pricey, price of convenience though.
A. M.I needed gorilla tape and a new toilet seat, the staff helped me find both quickly, a third item I was looking for they did not have, again no time wasted 👍
S.Went there for some gripfill and some hand tools. Everything was priced good. I ended up coming back as I had bought the wrong product by accident. They gladly returned the gripfill and I swapped it for another product

J. J.Service is great, really nice staff and great customer service. However, they need to get to speed with technology, I spent 30 minutes in the store, only to get to the till to find out I couldn’t pay with my phone due to their machines not being contactless. Maybe I shouldn’t rely on thinking everywhere has them, but pretty much everywhere does except B&Q.

A.Tried calling customer services, as the discount vouchers they posted don't work online, on hold for 45 minutes, so given up.
B&Q if you're going to send discount vouchers to Club Members, make sure they work, this is the second time it's happened !

Advice to b&q employ more elder staff eg semi-retired tradesman who actually KNOW what there talking about and take an intrest rather than min wage no experience people that all they care about is the wage and clock watching when break and clock off times are.

P. J.Decent instance of this chain DIY goods retailer, listed as a 'mini warehouse' but it seems plenty big enough for most requirements, so no need to go to the riverside 'warehouse' level store. Timber cutting, valspar paint mixing, kitxhen and bathroom displays and design service available instore. The garden section is mostly covered, which is nice for when the weather would usually discourage you from browsing an outdoor department.
