Got 2 Christmas trees and wicker surrounds at seriously knock down prices. (See photos) Fabulous selection of Christmas sale items. Nice lay out, helpful staff but not a great selection of garden plants.

A spacious car park, well organised and well stocked shop. Supportive and helping shop workers. The gardening section is huge, a lot of options to choose from. Pots, plants, equipments, fertilizers- one of the biggest i saw in oxford. Overall a good in store experience. It has an amazon locker located inside.

since the well stocked and popular B and q store sadly closed in Oxford we have been impelled to use the much smaller Homebase store in Cowley Oxford. I have been a good customer and was shocked to be treated rudely by the new and inexperienced manager. He refused to sell me a xmas tree with the stand even though it was displayed as one complete unit.

Visited a couple of times in December. The staff were extremely helpful. They work so hard to get things right, especially in terms of Covid. Its really hard at the moment for everyone and they go out of their way to make sure the customers have a great shopping experience. They are even unfazed when some shoppers come across rude. Fabulous store!

Very good selection, the garden centre is lovely and all the plants are well cared for. A wide selection of DIY stuff for almost every job, but as you might expect, some of the more specialist tools are not there or in short supply, and many things throughout the shop are stocked at the "buy it now" price. There's an Amazon locker here too, but I sometimes feel a bit shameful walking into Homebase to collect a tool I bought off Amazon that they stock.

We were looking for a paddling pool the website said was in stock. We could not find it in the section with paddling pools. We asked a very busy assistant who did not look hopeful. We picked up a cheaper alternative. As we queued to pay for it he found us and presented exactly what we wanted. Fantastic service. Thank you.

It was a nice place to have a leisurely brouse around with plenty to see. Keep an eye out for reduced price items in each section, I got many bargains. Large decorating secrion and a good selection of wood. The staff were very helpful indeed, and polite too. Its refreshing to see a direct competitor who is clearly making the effort to win customers from the other big names, as well as keeping their own regulars too. Homebase have the reasistic chance of coming up smelling of roses in the DIY race this lockdown.

Free trolley to avoid fiddly contacts, person at entrance to spray hands with gel, clear layout and clear labelling of items, efficient check outs, in brief, very positive experience. Found everything I needed in and out in less than 15 minutes.
