Easy at the tills not best of help in store today, normally highest standards of customer service is shown. Be nice if some staff actually said hello in return instead of just blanking. It is polite after all 👍

We recently had a complete refurbishment of our kitchen - fittings, plaster, tiles, electrics etc. Can't praise Wickes and our fitter Jason (and his team of skilled contractors) highly enough! From planning to completion was seamless and the end result fantastic. Eight days from start to finish - couldn't have gone better! Thank you Wickes in

Brilliant service. This company have definitely got Click and Collect off to a fine art. Ordered, received email confirmation, text quickly followed to confirm my order was ready for collection plus email. No waiting in the queue to enter the shop. Really helpful staff let you in to wait at the Click and Collect point. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Very easy and definitely conforming to Covid measures.

Due to Covid restrictions, i was unable to visit the bathroom displays. I tried to buy 5 bundles of 10 sample tiles a bundle advertised at 99p which I thought that was for the10, but no that was the price each tile.This made loose at 50 would of cost £49.95 however a box of 50 pack was only £11.69!! That worked out that I got 40 tiles for just £1.69!!! Notwithstanding that, they carry a great range of products at a reasonable price.

Good place to shop for your DIY or trade needs. If the product you want isn't in store, you would most likely be able to order on their website for delivery or collection. An added advantage over B&Q is that WICKES take AMEX cards so happy shopping..

Tremendously good for diy enthusiasts. I do the odd jobs at home and this shop and its location just drew me in like a magnet. In terms of availability it may loose to big B&Q in town but location already mentioned, layout of things where you can have a stroll along the Isles thinking 'I want this and that' coming up with various home improvements projects, this shop does it for me. Worth to mention the staff are helpfull.

Got a great hand with buying out kitchen by a young man. He was very polite and knew a lot about what sort of units we would need. We chose to have the take away kitchens and he help us step by step with great advice. He helped pick out the sink and the best tap for it on top of helping us lift the units to the car. Very good systems in place to ensure social distancing and helpful, pleasant staff. Plus they actually had the items they said they had in stock. Complete contrast to B&Q who were a shambles.( and didn't have the items they said they had in stock!)

Excellent shop for DIY items...... Three odd people standing near our vehicle mind when we came out????? They soon left as we approached mind!!!!! Wondering why the felt it necessary to be so close? Quite odd or maybe discrimative?? They looked a bit rough themselves maybe a camera is needed in the car park now!!

Check the reviews before you buy anything big like kitchen cabinets. They have been fairly good during the pandemic but still allowing big groups of people to go in store, people not using the one-way system and staff not paying too much attention to how close people are in queues but also themselves in store.

Great customer services on kitchen depaetment. Slight hiccup with delivery on our order, however Wickes did everything they possibly could and rectified the situation right way. Happy customer 😁 ***edit **** Bad experience today. 2 stars removed. Was made to put all of our shopping on the floor and stand back so she could scan it. If Bending down with back pain wasn't bad enough to place it on the floor, picking ip up was even worse trying ro bend down ans bend knees. The cashier was chatting away to her colleague about her journey to work and barely acknowledged us as customers. I suggest even basic customer services training would be beneficial to cashiers.. I expect a better service having put about 20k in your tills this year and if I continue to shop here. Also, jt would be beneficial to have aone sort of higher surface for customers to put shopping on so we don't have to bend down.

Have used Wickes for many years and have always been happy with the service they provide. Used their click and collect at start of lock down - spot on. Been in since they re-opened using social distancing - again well done. B&Q/Homebase they are not. For the trade they meet the requirement - in and grab what you want and leave. Unless you are at least an experienced DIYer it may not be the place for you.

Actually pretty well priced, I am in the trade and usually avoid wickets and b and q due to the prices, however I was pleasantly surprised by the range of products and got a great deal on some flooring. Would definitely use again.

Service is always good, prices are not and I always check the Toolstation outlet that is in the same unit to see if they carry identical or similar products as their prices will be significantly cheaper. A reasonable number of stock lines though not as many as the nearby B & Q and Homebase. The small number of Wikes branded products I've used have been overpriced and poor quality.

It's a Wickes. There's car parking with easy access for a trolley. They sell general building and garden supplies, theres a kitchen and bathroom section. You get what you see.

As a stop gap this is a good store, does not carry the greatest selection of goods, more a basic selection of most, the staff are trained to smile and say such phrases as "hello may I help you" and then help you to search for the goods and "we will have a delivery in a few days" or even "Have a nice day", they have a limited knowledge of products and seem to direct customers to the most expensive options available instead of enquiring exactly what project the customer is working on and to see if there are alternatives. Wickes would be better if they employed people who have some building or extensive DIY skills. There is no substitute for experience. also the younger staff seem to view enquiries as an interruption to their smart phones. limited parking but you can get a Burger from across the road when you come out.
