Made a delivery very nice staff quick at unloading

What a fantastic driver! Managed to get a big delivery of plasterboard etc down a cul de sac with very little room on each side and even better he craned about 2/3 of the load up into the front yard with about 2 inch clearance. Saved me a lot of labour on my dodgy knee. Excellent service 👍🏻

Not the cheapest builders merchants or the most expensive either. However they have some of the best staff. Always helpful and frequently lighthearted and entertaining. I choose Altys for their service, as they make people feel welcome.

Visited today for some timber. Fast, pleasant service, competitive price. Cutting service onsite made my job easier. Parking was available.Will use again.

in situ stock is good and the staff efficient and knowledgeable. Timber yard staff extremely helpful especially the elderly gent operating the sawmill. My only criticism is nothing is priced and you have to bother the staff who then have to go on the system to give you a price. The online catalogue is non existent and seems to have been under construction for ages.

Brilliant customer service in the timber yard. I didn't have specific dimensions, or know the name of the wood type I need, just a guide size and thickness I wanted and can deal with myself. Came away with 3 small pieces cut for me to try out as I need to get on with my rabbit hutch conversion to house rescue hedgehogs. I'll be back! Wish I had the gentleman's name who helped me and chatted with about hedgehogs. But thank you to him ☺
