Outstanding customer service, in the shop, on the phone and by the delivery guy. This is my new go to shop rather than B&Q. Products delivered quick and when I wanted.

A very convenient builders store that sells most of the items for the trade and for the DIY. The gutters section does not have some of the very important and popular small diameter sizes. The prices are reasonable but why every customer had to be registered and produce their card cause there’s no discount for the registered customers! Also it’s frustrating at the tills when we have to wait for the large A4 receipt being printed separately from the printer - waste of time and paper. All the prices shown are without VAT and at times it’s confusing when we think the item is cheaper than other stores but in reality it isn’t!! The checkout tills are very slow.

Room for improvement when it comes customer services in many ways.Sometimes i go in happy, come out grumpy depending on who served you. It was once my go to shop…not anymore.I would rather pay more for good service.

Having had no luck getting MDF cut at B&Q and also receiving unhelpful service, I went to Selco. The 2 guys at the timber cutting station (Darren & Owen N I think) were brilliant! So helpful and friendly! I will never go to B&Q again if I can help it....Selco are much closer and have nicer & more knowledgeable staff! Thanks so much guys 😊

Amazing store. I have been there for cutting service, and I have been served by a guy “his name is Alan” absolutely great guy, amazing customer service ever, every respectful and helpful. Absolutely recommended

Loads of parking, including large spaces for vans. Tools and building supplies are just extras

Just used their wood cutting service. Excellent ! 6 sheets of 8x4 MDF cut into 75 sections for a bespoke shelving unit. 9 different sizes all cut quickly and FOC. Don’t normally write reviews but taking the effort to say thanks for a great service !

As far as selcos go this one is on the bad side click and collect rarely ready on time stock misplaced hard to find staff are 50/50 friendly and helpful but then somewhat clueless

Standard Selco store miles from anywhere ( I came from London) but the doors I wanted were in stock, so great! Hire prices are reasonable but I haven't hired anything yet.
