This is a small family-type business. Friendly staff, very helpful.

What a delight. A local toolshop as they used to be in a bygone era: a large range of good quality products, reasonably priced and well displayed. The owner is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. If she hasn't got the item you require on stock, which is generally unlikely, she will order it for you. In another contrast to a chain store, if she says she'll ring you she actually does so.

I have been using this tool shop since 2000. They have good product knowledge both from a sales and repair perspective as they have their own repair facility in the shop. They have extensive handheld and power tool stock - it can be an education just looking along the shelves. They have a blade sharpening service. Once a year in May they hold a tool fair which the big suppliers attend.
