The store is clean and staff are generally friendly and efficient, but I noticed prices are climbing and a lot of stuff out of stock. There was a long queue at the tills, too, as only one was open, and there was as long a queue for the self service checkouts.

The safety precautions are excellent and felt really comfortable, it's a shame that when there was a que instead of keeping asking if anyone wants to pay by card there was more than enough staff to hop on the till for the majority of people wanting to pay by cash.

Doesn't ever seem to be enough staff on although the staff that work there are all pleasant and welcoming. The lift is always broken so it's a nuisance for customers with prams or wheel chairs if they wish to shop for home wear! Other than that they have some great offers on cleaning & beauty products and who doesn't love a pic n mix!

I used to love this branch of Wilko, but it's gone downhill in the last few months. Recently, so many shelves are empty, especially the Pet Foods section. Very often, I find myself having to go to B&M for things that are out of stock, like just this week when the wild bird food shelves were empty. The staff are reasonably polite, but many seem to be lacking in product knowledge and they all seem in a rush. The only time I feel the benefit of good customer service, is when the very tall man is on the shopfloor (think his name is Neil) as he is so polite, extremely helpful, has excellent product knowledge and is a credit to Wilko.

Ideal for disabled with plenty of variety of bargains, and the special offers. No need to go anywhere else for household small items. The feel of the place makes it comply with pleasant staff and assistants. It does not overwhelm, and well worth a visit and see what anyone who as not been look and see what you are missing out on.

The shop ok but my partner got robbed from a gang of pick pockets just outside so his experience was dreadful and very upsetting they stole his phone and a gold ring he just bought before going into wilko plus a load of cash and they took our bank cards so all in all a very harrowing experience for him and very upsetting for me to know what happened to him.

There's a atm inside, normally out of money. Funny thing about the place is that when I went there the other day they had 2 shelves right next to eachother, one of them had 10 packs of walkers for £1.5, the other one had just a single packs for 60p. People actually buy singles by the way

You can find me in here weekly, because ..why not? It has everything a woman needs from make up to kitchen utensils at an affordable price. The only thing that needs working on is the customer service; what is wilko doing to these lot? Would it really kill them to smile even once and stop chit chatting while serving a customer? Talk less of giving directions without even lifting a finger, and silently laughing while you run around like a lost puppy looking for a hidden bone, which ends up being in their pocket. And seriously wilko, can you really not afford bubble wrap for your breakable items? 👀 Nevertheless, it carries most general house hold necessities ,so if you can overcome all it's little flaws. It will be a fairly reliable marriage indeed.

Quite a small wilko compared to others, so many things that you would come to expect from a wilko arent available. You still get garden fences and kitchenware, but they dont stock 2L versions of most soft drinks, or they dont have many flavours of many popular branded crisps. Still cheap, good value products, just a bit of a pain finding what ypu actually need.
