Huge range of goods on offer, at excellent prices. Its a great shop, with informative friendly staff. Unlike the big DIY shops you don't have to buy a pack of 20 when you only need one! Called in to get some keys cut recently, at a fraction of the cost of some other places, and landed up buying some great bedding plants, great shop

A corner shop in the traditional mould, serving a great, diverse community. Easy to spot by the assorted goods on display outside, with an absolute Aladdin's Cave trove of assorted 'things you never knew you needed' inside. We only wanted some tape and string, but would definitely return for a new ladder and bucket...a community treasure!

It maybe an age thing but I loved this shop and staff. They are so helpful and the old style of just buying what you need at extremely competitive prices bring a warm glow to my heart.

The guys working here are so helpful, and this shop has everything you might need, from gardening to DIY. Brilliant treasure trove of items!

I've been going to this shop for donkeys years and for good reason. It's stocked to an abundance and the outside is deceptive as it must be like a tardis (I imagine they retrieve items from the back, from an attic, from a cellar etc etc) Most helpful and knowledgeable staff. Always helpful in advising me with whatever DIY task I might be attempting. Nothing like going to B&Q where staff seem impossible to find and prices are made up on the spot I'm sure. I used to say to my young son that it is the best shop in the world Still saying it and he's 18 now! Truly is a jewel of a find.

I LOVE this shop! I wish they sold everything so I didn't have to shop elsewhere. The staff are great and extremely helpful. Going in there for the first time was like walking in to the Two Ronnies sketch - one by one, I gave a list of what I was after and he got each thing. Lovely atmosphere.

A brilliant shop its like Aladdins tardis. Always have what I want in there underground bunker. I am not sure how they fit everything in this shop but they do. Really nice people always helpful even for my annoying little projects. They are lucky not all there customers spend as little as me or they would be bankrupt lol. If I go in B&Q I get lost and the staff are clueless they don't even know what aisle they are stood in and tend to dribble there reply. This hardware stores staff don't dribble and its actually a joy to shop in here. Very knowledgeable. Thanks.

Everything you want for DIY on your doorstep. A wealth of advise. Nothing is a problem. If you want old fashioned service come on down. If you want to pay over the top and end up with the wrong thing drive to your remote superstore.
