R. P.A great, family owned hardware shop that has been in Bassett for generations. Despite being a high street shop that is much smaller than somewhere like B&Q, I can't think of a single time when they've not had what I needed. True, somewhere like B&Q might have 5 different options of the same thing in case you want a specific brand whereas Rouses might only have a single option, but often a screw is a screw, a drill bit is a drill bit, and some silicone sealant is silicone sealant, so the brand on it doesn't really matter!

P. S.Love Rouses, it's my go to for most hardware, screws, tools and the like. Very handy if you don't want to travel all the way in to town.
R. W.Kitchen equipment up to date , pet stock a little pricey, but handy parking makes it comparable to carry it from shop to car, and the staff are always ready to help the elderly and infirm. It is so good to have a hardware shop within 6 miles from home..that is stocking the modern ,unusual , and always ready to get it for you if they don’t have it in stock....
