We did our kitchen refurbishment via Wickes Watford last month and very pleased. Azee was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. The builders who did the kitchen were very skilled and reliable too. We did our bathroom via Wickes Watford too 9 years ago and it still looks nice and new, hoping kitchen will last very long time too. Highly recommend!

Third visit to Wickes in 2 weeks to replace a toilet seat hence the three stars. Better experience here than at the St Albans branch though, which I won't be frequenting again due to a manager there being incredibly rude. Where do they find these people?

I'd made an online order and got a call from my local store to advise delivery - hadnt aprpeciated it was coming from the local store so elected to collect it that night as they were open late. Not sure Wickes know what they are nowadays. Gone soft and not much compared to old store... just another bathroom showroom.

A bright, clean, well laid out store, stocked with plenty of both own brand, & named brand products at competitive prices. Efficient friendly service, plenty of parking & trolleys, excellent kitchen & bathroom displays. In-store design team and fitting services are available. Store accessability is good, a lift and disabled customer toilets are available.

Excellent layout and selection of nails and screws, perfect for DIY when you're unsure what you want. During July I got a box of a variety of screws within 10 mins including paying at till so I know I can get a key stair gate installed before niece visits!

This is my local and I come here often. It's quite a small but tidy store. However it's a bit of a joke. I purchase three items on separate occasions and each time they have had the missing components. A bulb from my light that was meant to be included and my most recent purchase was screws missing for a backing plate for a sensor light. Even though the returns were easy, a complete waste of time. I'm not sure people are stealing these bits or packaging department is an issue. So my advice is if you are buying anything from here to ensure that you check you have everything that should be included whilst still in the car park before going home, otherwise you may have to make another trip back.

Wickes was amazing. Although every business seems to be short staff, Wickes customer service was excellent. We were helped by two members. Blessings was patient and knowledgeable about the product. She answered every question we had and never stopped smilling. This is the kind of service one expect from an establishment. Great customer service. We were also helped by another guy but didn't get his name. I hate to describe him like this but he walked with a little limp and he deserves to be credited. He was also so knowledgeable about paint. He knew exactly what product to recommend based on my meger descriptions. He made us laugh and felt very comfortable and confident shopping in wickes. We will definitely go back for all our diy needs. Great customer service is what you expect when spending your money and Wickes did not disappoint. Thanks for such a wonderful customer experience. First time visiting and it wont be the last!

We used this Wickes for several months whilst renovating 3 properties in Watford. The staff were always helpful and they pretty much always had what we required. It is not the biggest Wickes so the choice can seem limited especially for timber but we found it served us well.

I never use to go to Wickes due to the location in Watford but now they have moved its great and have realised just how much cheaper they are to B&Q! Of course there are always offers around but for everyday things Wickes is always cheaper with no loss in quality.
