Usually my first port of call for DIY building projects, as all the usual materials are there, no problem. Re-guttering the workshop at the mo, and all the bits were available.

Fairly new designed store that is very open plan so you can see most of what you need. Staff are very friendly and assist when needed.

It has good opening times, product ranges and prices. The car park can get a bit full and frustrating, so I avoid the most popular times which Google can tell you about. It's my favourite DIY and hardware store in the city. For there's no flora side to the garden side of things. But for landscaping supply, again it's the best in Worcester. As an example of the available range, I had to go there recently because homebase didn't stock any mains junction boxes. There were a couple at Wicks. I got a lovely MK 30 amp three terminal one, really strong and only just over £5

Has everything you would expect in stock. Accessible and well presented. Very busy with long queue so should have opened more tills.

Store is good in sense they don't clutter the store aisles like the competition does. But the ratio of staff in the building to number on the tills is always an issue, especially as most of the staff not on the tills are wondering around aimlessly, or have a social. Never seen a manger on the floor, which does explain it. Things have got worse with click and collect, combination of waiting forever to be served (and then sometimes having to wait for different member of staff), awkward procedure (requires a code in a txt, even if you have the emails and can show them in the app, that order is yours) to collect, and goods never seem ready to be collected.

First time I have been in this branch and with whats going on the system in place seems to work well. I had to queue for a few minutes before getting into store but thats expected anywhere you shop at the moment. Staff I spoke to was very pleasant and happy to help. I was served at the till quickly. I will be shopping here again a very pleasant and easy experience in difficult times for retailers and customers.

Not too busy for a Saturday morning so good for social distancing. I'd checked that they had stock of what I needed before traveling and all was there on the shelves so able to get what I needed quickly. Friendly staff on the tills.

Due to the COVID-19 situation there was a queue to go into the store. Although it looked long it didn’t take much time to get in. Stock seemed a bit low in some areas (e.g. clamps, PZ2 bits). Another long queue to pay at the checkout but again didn’t take too long. There were no baskets coming in to the store but you could use a bucket and buy it for £1 if you wanted to keep it.

Wide range of products, materials, tools and everything else you might need for your SIT project under one roof. Free parking for 90 minutes (if my memory serves me well), which should be plenty to pop in and grab everything you need. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Very convenient for diy needs as in the city and an extensive range of stuff. However it does tend to be expensive on a lot of things and you have to know what you want for the job as the staff have no/little knowledge and so unhelpful if you need advice.

I use Wickes a lot I can find painting products. Wood , kitchens, plumbing products. And more the staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking for two hours as well.

80% of the time everything I need is in stock, the wood is straight, the staff are helpful, the checkout queue is managable and I can find a trolley. 20% of the time the opposite is true. That's the Pareto principle for you. It's everywhere.

I did a click and collect to avoid staying in the shop to reduce exposure to the public but my order was incorrectly put up and the young lady serving me had to track down the correct felt where the check outs are brings people closer than 2m just like to say 10 out of 10 to the lady who served me she didn't need the hassle either

Not really a trade supplier as most items seem substandard, ok for diy users and plaster is well priced but just make sure its fresh, steer well clear of the building sand, defo not 20kg and from the wrong quarry to match existing buildings

Store has been remodelled again getting rid of the in store catalogue ordering - a sort of halfway house towards Screwfix that didn't really work and often became a bottle neck. That said, similar stock now appears in different parts of the store so you might need to look in several places - not very logical. Can take a while for items to be retrieved from the warehouse if not out on a shelf.

We went in for a 5l pot of brilliant blue paint in silk. One wansn't available so they were able to mix up a pot of paint with us out of there in 10 minutes. I have also had very positive results from others who have used Wikes' paint and other products/items

Recently purchased a bathroom here. Had a design consultant named Kayleigh who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I can highly recommend.

The customer service could better. There wasn't enough people on to deal with the queue and when 2 more people came out they were so slow and not very competent. They also all looked like they had been told off and were disgruntled.

Love looking around Wickes, they always have lovely kitchens and bathrooms which we have bought over the last six years. Disappointed, perhaps on only having a few rolls if wallpaper for sale!
