J. Y.If the thought of going to a gigantic DIY behemoth establishment, just for a couple of items fills you with dread, Goring Hardware is your ideal replacement.
With very knowledgeable & experienced staff, they will provide you with not only what you need, but they'll do it with super customer service too.
The manager Colin is a really nice & pleasant chap, always happy to go the extra mile in order to help his customer.
Walking inside is like a veritable treasure trove of all things homewares & DIY.
The garden too, especially their great selection of plants, veg & herbs out the front.
A 'proper' old fashioned shop!
A beautiful reminder of yesteryear.

a. C.First class hardware shop, they have everything plus a lot more, they also sell gas bottles which they always have in stock, the staff are so pleasant it really is one of the best hardware shops I've been in, you won't be disappointed,
J. C.Better than wickes , and advice from people who know stuff rather than children in uniform plus you can buy one bulb or one screw rather than huge multi packs like B &Q . And coal can be delivered free . What more do you want ?
