B. J.It does the job as B&Qs go. Not the biggest but have most of the stuff you’d need. Staff can be a bit odd, but I’m putting that down to them being institutionalised - some have seemingly been there since the Noah popped in for a hammer and nails.
There’s a Screwfix next door too so you can normally get what you need in one of them.

A. D.Very pleaded with the reel and hose I bought from the Wrexham Branch a very helpful member of staff helped with our choice carried it to the till set it up with the fittings and carried it to the car. Could not ask for better srevice.
J. E.Bought a cordless Bosch screwdriver yesterday that was "ex display". When I got it home the battery wouldn't charge so took it back today. They couldn't replace due to it being no longer stocked and offered a refund. As I really wanted to keep it I asked if I could just swap the battery. Jason took it away and then came back with a new battery..no problem and 1st class customer service.

S. S.Staff at B&Q are superb... bought a BBQ this morning and there were parts missing. Unfortunately we bought the last one, but that didn't stop the amazing help we had off customer service, a gentleman that worked on the floor and Jason who I think was a manager. They really went above and beyond to help us, and we are extremely grateful.

All are typical of the brand (ie, can usually find what I'm after); this one has particularly friendly staff, which, I have to say, I have found to be characteristic of Wrexham store staff.

M. B.I went to B&Q looking for fixings and tools. I managed neither. No 1 1/2 brass screws and no medium length electrical flat head screwdriver! This store has moved away from it’s DIY roots and is no more lifestyle. Over in Wickes I found everything I needed. On three occasions in the past month I’ve left empty handed. They really need to improve their game.

A. N.When you can find help, the staff are excellent and really informed and can help you with any problem. Unfortunately in my opinion they don't employ enough dedicated staff to help. Cheaper than Wickes usually but, if they have what you want next door, go there first. The staff in B&q are wonderful but in my opinion their method of business is dated when you are looking for the best for least. Just my opinion mind.
T. H.Average B&Q really. Have been in several times recently to find that simple DIY items they did not stock and it's also definitely worth price checking against Screwfix next door (both owned by same company) as various items can be marked up by 40-50%.

j. p.Went for some summer plants plenty of them but very neglected obviously not cared for much considering the weather nothing had been watered couldn't get what I wanted. On leaving the store I could see why even the parking lot looked a mess rubbish just left on the grass banks chip papers cartoons etc just general neglect I don't think for a minute the staff should be expected to clear up after people but there is a vacancy somewhere in B&Q system to create a job to deal with this the neglect will soon spread through the shop.

J.Rather disappointed when I went on Tuesday, the decorating Isle I needed to be in was completely shut off due to re stocking, I asked for what I needed only to be told, I'm sorry I'm not store staff, I'm store fitting staff and went back behind the screen leaving me scratching my head, I asked a member of staff to have a look but sadly he came out and said I'm afraid we don't do them any more 🙆♂️🤷♂️ and left me to it, so I just walked out

R. M.This is a large B&Q store with a good range of items to suit everyone's needs. Sitting on the edge of the Wrexham bypass, it's easy to access with lots of free parking.
The only downside to this store is that it's a few years old and starting to get a little tired. However, the frendly helpful staff make up for this and you will find something to come away with.

G.Wrexham's B&Q is not as large as neighbouring Chester's branch, but is amply stocked with most DIY products, light construction materials, a reasonable power tool and lawn equipment offering, and (seasonally) a modest garden centre. Staff are always knowledgeable and seem to have a broad knowledge across all product ranges.
