I’ve been visiting The Nuffield for well over a decade now and while the facilities and medical staff are always a joy to deal with i dread having to deal with Chani on reception. I imagine she’s lovely to the staff there but she’s consistently rude and dismissive to my wife and I over dozens of visits. She really does the otherwise wonderful facilities an enormous disservice and is clearly not cut out for a customer-facing role.

I was in for a day operation two weeks ago and I was very impressed with the 5 star care I received. From my 1st assessment, Dr Bennett was lovely & I felt in good hands throughout. Everyone was very kind & even the Chicken Caesar salad was delicious. Well done Chef!

I had a 360 plus health assessment done 12 days ago. It was efficient and everyone was polite and cordial. However I am still waiting for the report and some of the results. It’s been 8 working days and they say that you’ll get the report within 10 days. The results include an X-ray which I need before addressing an issue that I have. I’ve tried to call to get the results but couldn’t get through. I am assuming that since I’ve not heard anything the X-ray is normal but I do think that results like this should be shared with the patient much sooner as not knowing for so long causes anxiety for some and because it costs £839. If I had done it on the NHS I would've had the results by now. There is a computer system so I can’t see why all results should not be posted on my account then it doesn’t matter that the report takes so long. Not really worth the money and I wouldn’t do this again.

I had my surgery with Mr Whitworth & his team today. It has been absolutely fantastic, the nursing staff have been so efficient, welcoming & super friendly. Mr Whitworth is such a wonderful surgeon, this is my 3rd surgery with him & I could not recommend him highly enough, he is a true professional & has amazing empathy. Sarah his secretary is so gorgeous & always there in the end if the phone if I have had an questions etc! She is also super organised too!!

The service I received this morning was superb in every way. The surgeon Mr Julian Smith and Linzi the anaesthetist were excellent. All the nursing and support staff were exemplary and the food was delicious.
The whole process was very efficiently carried out. I arrived at 7.30 am and was out at 10.30. Brilliant throughout. Thank you to everyone.

All medical and admin staff were kind and considerate whilst maintaining a professional role. Nurses and all other support staff were also great, attentive and kind to help you get better quick.
Mr Kent did both my hips. He was excellent at explaining the procedure and recovery time to make sure I was ok. His team members were professional and took their time to explain everything they were doing and reasons for doing it.
kitchen staff were also very caring and friendly. They were working very hard to make sure you don’t go hungry. :O)
Fantastic people from the moment you entre the Hospital until you are well enough to be discharged.

I am so very grateful for the amazing care I received from my consultant surgeon Mr Julian Smith, the anaesthetist, the surgical team and nursing team Julie Cole, and the lovely support staff who made my brief stay an extremely comfortable one. Attended as a in-patient and had the pleasure of meeting Dr Whitworth my surgeon, Debbie and the team. What an absolute lovely bunch of people. Over the years, five operations and a skin blemish removed at the Nuffield, food was lovely, and all staff couldnt do enough to support recovery. Ive mentioned Debbie but wanted to add …what a really lovely nurse she is, always smiling, capable of having a laugh whilst remaining professional and always there to support if you have any questions post op, a real asset to the hospital! I am writing this on behalf of my dad. Mr. S. Reynolds. Who had a testicular cyst removed at this hospital on 18/08/20
My dad says prior to being admitted he had read numerous bad reviews about this hospital but found the hospital to be very good.
He says the staff were spot on especially the male nurse that looked after him (dad would like to say a big thank you to him and says sorry for not remembering his name but he lives in Boscombe so will hopefully know who he is referring to)
Dad would also like to thank the rest of the team who looked after him and says they were excellent too.
The food was also of a high standard and nothing was too much trouble.
As for the private room, it was very clean and well equipped ( tv could have been bigger lol) dad hopes this review will even out the negatives.

I had an x ray as a private patient to diagnose hip pain. I was nervous but the radiologist spent time explaining the history of x ray and the modern built in safety procedures. All the staff that I met were kind and professional and made time to be helpful.

Firstly a massive thank you to all concerned with my care and treatment during my brief stay at your hospital. Thank you especially to Doctor Carter, who in the short time we chatted before the op allayed any doubts or worries that I might have had and more importantly for the beautiful job done, many thanks sir.
It's two weeks tomorrow that I had my op and the healing process is going very well. I was a very fortunate man indeed to be treated and looked after so well at the Nuffield, so once again thanks to you all.

I was there to see a doctor to find out what it was a lump on my wrist.He was an Asian doctor ,likely from Pakistan very kind and apologised for being late that morning.The only bad experience is I has to wait 15 minutes for the call they said me for an appointment ,and still they told me than they call me and I did not answer! ,and I was next to my phone for 15 minutes the time they told me.Maybe they forgot ,or they did not have my right number ,anyway it was their fault and they did not admitted it ,apart of that all the staff were lovely.

Following an initial consultation for a cataract operation, my fears and worries were laid to rest by my surgeon, Andrew Morris. He took the time to explain what the operation would entail and how improved my sight would be. 95% restored vision was to be the best outcome, I had no vision in the eye at this point. After surgery and a follow up consultation, I have now 100% vision. An amazing outcome, truly life changing. A huge thank you to Andrew and the team at the Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital.

Saw Dr Richardson, he's a star! So nice to meet a Dr who actually goes the extra mile to see how he can help you! After being fobbed off by my NHS GP about my condition for 3 years, Dr Richardson has helped me resolve my issue and has provided me with a new lease of life, something that would never have happened with an NHS Dr. If you want results and practitioners who put people first, I'd definitely recommend their services.
