This place is really good regarding clinical staff '' but was slightly disappointed at being just 5 minutes late for an appointment for necessary arranged by my GP treatment and had a lot of unessecary unpleasant communication regarding whether I should be seen or not. I did not feel this attitude was necessary . Maybe a bit more empathy or gentle interactions with sick patients. I am not at all criticising the nursing staff just one individual receptionist. Sometimes in life we can be 5 minutes late. I have had appointments here for a month and have never been late. Just the way it was communicated. I was told I would be seen but had to wait . Had to travel from North Bristol sometimes there are bumps in the road .

Struggling to register with a NHS dentist in my home town of Weston-Super-Mare, I was signposted to the dental training team at South Bristol Hospital. I have had to attend on a couple of occasions and both times the staff have been friendly, welcoming, understanding and professional. With all the negativity and pressures around the NHS at times, this service is excellent, efficient and I would happily recommend to others.

Broke my wrist. Hospital x-rayed it, plastered it and sent me off to BRI for further treatment. Didn’t have to wait very long in BRI as knew I was coming. Couldn’t have had better treatment. Excellent walk-in center.

Unfortunately had to visit today with a burn injury , upon arriving I was greeted by very pleasant reception staff who booked me in. Very clean environment. I was quickly called into Triage by Doug. What a great guy ! Easy to talk to , great knowledge and very informative. The care received was on par with a private hospital. Keep up the great work Doug, your positive attitude is a blessing to anyone who is in need 🙏. Thank you !

I have used the walk in centre twice in 2 years both for minor injuries. Brilliant staff, obviously they are busy and sometimes there is a long wait but that is the same for all NHS A&E places. Parking is cheaper and easier than the BRI so if it's between 8am and 8pm this place is a better option

I had an appointment here few days ago and whilst at the hospital I felt unwell. Literally within a few seconds the staff had me on a wheelchair and then on a bed within minutes monitoring me and taking care of me. The care and professionalism at the hospital was top class and the best. The NHS is really the best of the best in this country and I’ve experienced many times the amount of care and attention you get when you visit these places. I truly salute you

I called them before i walked in, to know if it's the right place to go with my problem. The receptionist was really nice and helpful. I waited like 20 mins, before i got in. The lady (nurse or doc) she was nice too, gave some advice, helped a lot. There were hand sanitizer all over the place, the chairs were cleaned often.

Reception staff were very helpful however, the nurse that has seen me on two occasions has been extremely rude and made me feel as if I shouldn't have even gone in to be seen! Seen her twice now unfortunately and on the second occasion she didn't even examine my injury properly she basically said to go home. Looking at all the other negative reviews my guess is were all talking about the same person!

What a pleasant and peaceful experience it was to visit this hospital on September 3rd. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a very helpful receptionist who told me exactly where to go for Radiology.I was greeted by the two radiographers who instantly put me at ease before I had an MRI scan.. My experience was excellent. Thanks to the very kind,friendly and strictly professional staff.

I've spent rather more time than I would choose to at this hospital over the last few days!
Yes, I had to wait a while to be seen to but all the staff were so approachable and caring.
There's a lovely calming feel in the building, considering its purpose. The team seem to have a great work flow and there is a sense of cleanliness and friendly efficiency that's very reassuring.
Plus, it doesn't have that horrible hospital smell!

Excellent experience there with a lovely staff and a great organisation. They told me how long I would have before to be seen and they were perfectly on time. It was efficient and the doctor was great. The building is new and welcoming, easy to access. Compared to other countries I know it was definitely the best and most satisfying experience in a medical organisation.

Extremely clean, calm and staff welcoming. I did struggle a bit, getting out of the car park. Probably my own fault: I exited at the barrier, then was confronted by bus lanes; I then tried to enter at the emergency door. I'm wondering if a brightly coloured path for pedestrians might help, as the entrance isn't obvious from the car park. Re cost of parking: It's no different to anywhere else in Bristol, and the experience is much more relaxing so I didn't mind.

I've had to visit SBCH twice this year for difference reasons and have received excellent service on both occasions. The minor injury unit was quiet and I was seen quite quickly to be assessed for priory. As it was only a minor injury I did have to wait for others with more serious problems to be see first but in total I was only there for around an hour and a half.
My second visit was for an x-ray which was a 'sit & wait' situation but again great service, lovely staff and I was in and out within 45 mintues.

Friendly, professional & efficient staff. Was very busy when visiting MIU but they are good at giving you an estimate of the wait if you ask. A display shows you the estimated wait too. Free drinking water and WiFi also available in the waiting room which is modern, clean and comfortable.

Great building (a mini Southmead), great staff (seemed caring for vulnerable patients), poor management (put on wrong list so wasted my holiday here), poor timekeeping (some waiting more than 3 hours past appointment time) and outrageous out of town parking fees (I walked through from cinema car park)!

I had a problem that had persisted for a few days. As I was away from home and unable to speak to my GP 111 advised me to contact the hospital.
I went there for the 8am opening;
the receptionist was polite and efficient,
I was triaged within 5 minutes,
Before I reached my seat to wait for a clinician I was called again,
The Clinician was polite, reassuring, and friendly.
And I was finished and sat on the sofa by 9:30
We need to be more supportive of the incredible service supplied by the NHS.
