H.I really hope & pray 🙏 that this Airport ✈stays open especially as its future is in doubt ? .With ample car parking only a few mins walk away or the meet & greet area at the side of the arrivals /departures building You'll find Excellent pleasant staff on duty in all areas ,they really do provide you with a wonderful experience as they quote "Your holiday starts here"( they could do with giving those down at East Midlands Airport a few lessons on customer service).It's no wonder this Airport has received awards.Well done & thank you for the amazing airport experience once again 😎

A. B.Great Airport. Smaller so less crowds but perfectly well equipped and nicely laid out with good facilities. Meet and Greet parking is great. Definitely our new "Airport of Choice" where flights allow the option.

R.Airport is small but nice neat clean, passport control is truly 0 minute waiting, security check is efficient. 16 JAN 2022, The worst experience is Wizzair check in - anyhow the lady was adamant not allowing the cabin bags which was by all means in accordance to regulations though insisted us to pay £50. we, the Senior citizens were compelled to satisfy her ego by changing the cabin bags, though ironically it looked bigger then the earlier one. To our surprise we found that several passengers were carrying larger bags in size, volume and weight ( the management must check CCTV footage of check in counter as well as the Boarding gate) Perhaps we were choozen for being of the south east asia origin !!!? Rest, the onboard staff was very generous and polite.
J. W. (.Extremely busy today, but staff do everything they can to get everybody through in time for their flight. Queue for check in was about 1 hour 15 mins. Then smooth passage through the security.
N. Y.Relly quick, efficient and friendly airport. The meet and greet parking is quick, and cars are kept on site and only driven a very short distance. Bag drop, security and boarding are very efficient, food options are decent, and the departures area is big enough to not be crowded.
On arrival, passport control was also very fast, and bags were already unloaded and waiting. On my last trip I was out of the airport and in my car within 25 minutes of landing, which is impressive!
If the speculated closure of the airport goes ahead, it will be a huge loss to the area, and we will be forced to choose from the limited options in Leeds or East Midlands, or make the unpleasant drive to the chaos that is Manchester.
A. D.An excellent airport that I have just used as a passenger for the first time as an outgoing and returning passenger. Check in and security went smoothly despite a large number of people on various flights due out at or around 6am. Had a decent breakfast at the "customary" Wetherspoons with further choices of Costa and Subway. An easy walk to the gate and plane. Will hopefully use this airport much more in future wherever possible. Hope it remains open and growing as from the evidence I've seen it could have so much potential.
m. m.A fantastic small local airport - how airports should be and how others used to be! Not overloaded, not full of shops & eateries, but just the right balance for its size. Easy to park, no queues, clean, great friendly staff. Cannot fault experience.
Hope this airport can be SAVED from closure.
l. s.Doncaster Airport is a great small airport. Check in was easy and security checks were quick. There is a Wetherspoons inside which served nice food. The only criticism was when we arrived back from Turkey the toilets were very dirty in the baggage collection area.

A little boring inside but I take boring over drama, over crowding and delays anyday.
Quick easy parking straight in front of the airport at a reasonable price (booked through holiday extras)

We arrived 3 hours before the flight due to the chaos elsewhere but really was no need.

S.Such a great airport, sad that it's closing because the design is nice and generally looks great.
The staff are ok. Some are kind and fun to chat with and some are, to say the least quite depressed. This may be because there losing their jobs.
One issue that I find is that boarding is quite chaotic outside of the gate entrance. The queues are outside of the queue area. This shouldn't be the case but it's not a massive issue.
In conclusion, it's a nice airport to go to plenty of parking and food etc.
v. t.Fabulous airport. Quick check in. Just don't go more than 2 hours before check in. We got dropped off early and had to sit around for 3 hours before check in opened. So glad we didn't purchase the deluxe lounge as we would only have 30 minutes to eat and drink and purchase duty free
D. A.First time using Doncaster and apart from 1 member of staff I would of said its probably the best UK airport I've flown from. Its the member of staff that makes me give it 3 Stars and not 5. On checking in she decided it was more important to use her Mobile phone for a bit whilst a queue of people waited to checked in. Which the attendant helping direct people to the next desk was very apologetic about. Then the same member of staff was checking documentation at the terminal gate. Informing me last minute that my seats had changed. No Apology or Sympathy when I showed proof I had paid to select my seats and needed to be seated next to my partner due to Health issues. Just turned her back to me..

D. W.Best airport I have flown from. No queues at bag drop & I'd brought security fast track but didn't need it as no queues there either & went straight through. Very easy with a 2 year old. WH Smiths & Wetherspoons were ok & toilets were clean. Shame that the play area was closed. Would 100% fly from here again. I'm from Nottingham but Doncaster Airport is 100x better than East Midlands & Birmingham. I hope that it remains open so we can use it next year.
A. H.Shameful decision to close this airport. Have to fly from Leeds Bradford Airport, a dilapidated, crowded mess of an airport, out in the middle of nowhere served by one route from Leeds, with overpriced and rundown facilities, that takes me about 2 hours+ to get to and from.
DSA would take me 20 minutes. Peel don't see potential in the airport? Funny that everyone else does, close to the A1(m) and M1, close to the M18 and M180. Rail station permission finally approved for the site that would link it to the entire north of England, has the chance to be the easiest airport to get to for the entirety of Yorkshire and the East Midlands and they mothball it because they're... idk... scared of a bit of risk? Or perhaps just wanted the land for housing all along. Hopefully it gets reopened and revitalised soon because given a choice between any other airport and this one, be this one all day. Can't have been passenger numbers because pre-pandemic they were rising and rising, and not like other airports suffered too from it. Peel hiding behind that as an excuse if you ask me.
Perhaps vested interests because it would put East Midlands, Humberside and Leeds Bradford out of business if it was allowed to flourish.
C. H.Flew from here to lanzarote last week. We have never flown from Doncaster before but it was very well organised, the staff really friendly it was calm and smooth running. I really don't like flying but this airport experience definitely helped with my anxiety. More airlines should use the airport and it should not be closed down! We would definitely fly from Doncaster again.
B. D.I would just like to thank the wonderful staff at DSA after my recent Holiday. I needed the assistance to board and unboard on our return and they couldnt do enough. The staff are a credit to the Airport and long may it stay open.
G. S.What a great airport, very efficient, really quick both outbound and inbound, none of the long waiting times like the other larger airports in the north of England, I would fly from Doncaster Sheffield every time if it was possible. This airport needs to stay open.

D. C.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS AIRPORT DOWN. Doncaster Airport is my favourite airport to fly from soooo easy to get to and never any problems. We have just arrived back from Alicante and used Doncaster the last holiday we went on in 2019. It would be a real shame if this fantastic airport was to close down.
M.Best airport I have ever flown from, no long queues. Nice and simple layout. The perfect airport!!!

Boarding was also non problematic..
Actual departure time a little late due entirely to the knock on effect of French Air Traffic Controllers industrial action the previous day. No fault of Doncastet Airport or Tui.
The return trip was just as easy. No problem at Immigration or recovering luggage. Minimum waiting times at both.
The Meet and Greet parking facility was equally easy to use.
It's a 100% shame that this Airport is to close.

J. T.We flew to Portugal and left on time to the minute.We flew back from Faro leaving on time and arrived back slightly early. Except for the stupid up and down aisles to passport control we were through quickly with pleasant staff. Luggage arrived within 20 minutes. Meet and greet parking was 1st class. Why oh why do you not fly to more destinations????
A. P.Went to this airport for first time on May 5 2022 staff were so nice and helpful. Going through security I left my gold watch in the plastic tray. I contacted the airport and they had my watch ready for me on my return on 12 May 2022. They couldn't have been more professional and kind. Such a lovely airport and staff are amazing.

m. m.Second time I've flew from doncaster airport . Easy access to and from the airport. It's been a pleasure both times. Fast and reliable services. Modern facilities. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful with the requests I had. Nothing bad to say against it really. Hope you find d this helpful.
L. S.Service in through the airport was brilliant with two young children. Not much option for food when flight was delayed. Main issue was the price for parking at the airport, far too expensive, would put me off future bookings. Two flights arrived at the same time when returning and bags all to one place, made it very crowded everyone wanting a space, but was through immigration quickly.

Within 60 minutes we'd passed through to the gate area and were sat ordering in Wetherspoons.
The staffing throughout were jolly, hardworking and attentive.
Could have been quicker too had there been two lanes in security.
I. B.Worth the confusion of an old sat nav map to get there. If you are flying from here there looks to be plenty of car parking compared to some larger airports.
Went to see the Vulcan to the Sky experience. Definatley worth supporting.
W. G.As a disabled passenger I got to use the special assistance and they were amazing and really looked after me and my husband.
Departure was smooth as I boarded first which was great as I had a window seat which would have meant moving 2 people to sit down.
When we returned we disembarked last as we needed the ambul-ift and going through security into the baggage claim was made much easier as lots of the passengers had left which was great. We weren't stressed fighting to grab our luggage.
The only negative the other staff we encountered were a little little rude maybe because it was 5am or the stress of dealing with anxious passengers especially another flight which was delayed over 13 hours. The assistance team were amazing and treated me with kindness and were chatty which prevented me from becoming anxious at flying for the first time since beginning of lockdown

B.First time in years flying from here, not very impressed , people arrive early to avoid queues, but instead of having desks open so passengers can trickle through they keep them closed till last minute resulting in this stupid queueing, we had booked the lounge from 11.00 for 3 hours but gates didn't open till 11.40 so wasting our hard earned money, the only good thing is the lounge staff can't praise them enough, looked after us for the little time we did have, considering there were only 4 flight's I think Doncaster airport could do much better, would love to fly from there on a regular basis but limited destinations and there are no long haul flights to say the Asian countries, would be great if the airport was used to its full capacity, we worked hard to get it so would be nice to see it in the top 3
C. W.Small but efficient airport and closer to me so only 30 minutes away.
Unfortunately on our return flight at midnight, our taxi was delayed and theres is absolutely nowhere to sit or buy food/water. We had children aged 6 and 8 and it was quite distressing for them. It was also very cold. Plus took ages to get through passport control as there weren't enough staff and all hand checked!

L.Amazing airport amazing people and staff my flight was cancelled to Antalya on 20th June we had to stay at the airport for a good few hours the people in the same flight were amazing and were friendly and it was like a community the flight was then moved to the next day where it got delayed but we flew and the atmosphere was amazing when they heard that the flight was back on good vibes John the bald man with glasses is amazing hopefully when we return from Antalya we see all of you amazing airport John hopefully. A. V.Quite nice little airport. Friendly service. Beautiful view from the gates to almost the entire runway - few objects obstruct the runway, as it is at other airports. There is a playground in the area. At the airport it is not very clean (seats, carpets etc.). Good connections with Doncaster and Sheffield. Unfortunately, paid drop off. A huge inconvenience is the queue outside after landing - Airport do something with it !!!

P. C.I had to use the wheel chair take off the air craft and the staff there were wonderful reassuring and a pleasure to meet them
M. E.When you consider the problems at the larger airports, overcrowding and queues, delays and costs. Doncaster is a piece of cake! Parked up in the airport parking, walked across to hand in our keys and then walked into the hotel, a distance of but a few yards! Delightful.
Our return was equally as simple although we were delayed and this resulted in a slow move through the airport. However a slow move of about 50 minutes is nothing to moan about and we were in our car which was waiting only yards from the departure side of the airport.
If I can I will fly from Doncaster as much as possible.

P. H.If you can fly from this airport to the destination that you want to go to instead of the larger airports then take it. It's easy to get to being close to the M18 and has parking directly outside the main terminal & we got through security inside three minutes. Yes there's not a lot of shops but there's enough to satisfy your needs.
F. B.A small and cozy airport, which is well conntected with Sheffield. The airport crew is very polite and easy-going. The departure lounge has everything an airport needs, including a pub, restaurant, cafe and Subway.

R. P.Very good - tidy little airport. On my doorstep, good access, decent choice of food/gifts; good duty free (no duty free on arrivals) - but a buy now/collect on your return option. Bonus point to the airside spoons - good breakfast and they serve it quickly so no worries. Minor mark against the time to process arrivals - no automatic passport checking. Overall a good experience.

I needn't have worried, from baggage drop through passport control and security lovely smooth process, very little queuing, staff friendly and helpful. Thanks so much Doncaster. My first choice airport continues to deliver.
N. P.First class airport and meet n greet parking. Only slight grumble was the security on the bag checks were very abrupt and miserable but everyone else spot on. smoothest airport around.
C. ..As always, Doncaster remains a very good airport, small and easy to get around. Parking is easy and access to the terminal was not difficult at all.
L. H.Small, quiet and organised with friendly staff. Just be careful with the liquid item bag you use. I was in a rush and couldn't find my usual 20cm x 20cm bag so took a risk and used a 24cm x 20cm which has been fine at many (not all tho) other airports. Turned out DSA security staff were quite strict and insisted I use a tiny (roughly 14cm x 14cm but maybe that's the only size they have so not their fault!) bag provided by them so unfortunately I had to leave a few toiletry items behind... Will definitely play it safe and stick to 20 x 20!
Missing star due to a lack of power sockets... Not a major shortcoming but the pain will be noticeable if your flight is delayed!
P. M.It will be a very big shame to see this ideal airport have to close stress and worry free travel made easy with a warm Yorkshire welcome touch this airport needs to be saved

p. t.Once again a fantastic experience traveling via this airport. Due to one in the party having special assistant, we were able to fly straight thought check-in and security.

T.Asked 2 men if i had parked in right place job done, arrived the following week at midnight picked up the car went to barrier ticket would not open after getting info from the operator that i had parked in the wrong area he finally lifted the barrier and let me out, so well done airport parking would certainly use you again top marks

T.Hectic, got there 2 + 1/2 hrs early last week and only just got on our plane before it took off, no time for pub or duty free, the Tui didn't seem to have enough staff on check in desks, but at least they were calling people forward whose planes were due for leaving. When we arrived and cleared customs today around 3.45pm which was OK, we then saw the queues for people leaving and it was shocking. Not just Doncaster but all airports need to up their games as were not even at busy summertime holidays and it was chaos and will only get worse

j. b.Simple and small airport but gets the job done really quickly without any problems. I've always gone to this airport and there's really nothing bad I can say, as I said it gets the job done quickly, has a few shops with everything you may need, staff are nice, and there are no problems with getting to your gate (which there are only a few anyway). It's a bit complicated to get there but with the help of satnavs and road signs you'll be able to get there.
c. o.Easy airport to get through, however the connecting bus service was poor, three stands, no info on them as to which is for where. I wanted to go to Doncaster train station so I asked the driver of the first bus that arrived if it went there, yes he said, but it took ages, when we got there I said to him, that was a bit of a magical mystery tour, he said, O theres a direct bus thats much quicker! But no information to this effect is forthcoming. Very poor.

Arrivals is a little strained yes the covid checks do slow things down a bit but the queuing method out side with no real protection against the weather not good. Enforcement of masks and distancing not really in place at arrivals.
Overall a nice airport which I will probably use again.

Hygiene measures couldn't be better and help to increase passenger confidence under the current circumstances. Everything from the meet and greet parking team to the friendly airport staff are second to none. Also having the benefit of a well organised Wetherspoons for a meal and a drink before flying. Can't wait for my next trip.

Only downside was car rental return - there seem to have been changes recently which mean you have to go through a couple of barriers pressing “help” to find out where to go next. There is no clear signage - maybe this is temporary but I think most people are finding it confusing!

I have mobility problems and always pre book assistance to get to and from the plane. The staff are very friendly and helpful always polite. The airport has ample parking and it is always clean. The choice of shops and duty free is very good.

D. J.I have flown so many times from Doncaster Sheffield Airport it is untrue. Doncaster Airport is my local airport and from my village it takes about 10 minutes in a taxi for about £5. The staff are very friendly at the Airport. The check-in for me is a five star. If the the check-in is quiet it can take less than 10 minutes. Although sometimes when its busy it can take up to half an hour. But that's just because that's the longest Ive ever waited to check-in is half an hour. Then after you go up the stairs. Then there is the security to check your passports which is really quick no matter whether its busy or not the passport checking will take less than 5 minutes. Then its the other part of security to check you haven't got anything dangerous or something you shouldn't have. There are at least 3 different lanes but sometimes there might only be 2 lanes that are open but that doesn't really effect the waiting times by that much because there is what seems like an army amount of security staff make the security and checking process a lot faster. Then after the security checks. You go on thorough to the shops,bars,waiting areas and the gates. Overall its just a great airport.
P.Never had any issues on this airport except maybe a delayed flight due to weather.
This time the baggage check-in was even earlier than what the boarding pass said and it was a nice little wait till the boarding which again took place sooner than expectes

I left a tablet on a plane once, and got it back!! The only down side (minus two stars) of that airport are parking prices! I used to pay £22.99 for my usual weekend trip, some time ago, and it have risen to more then £40. I do understand that every business needs to make money, but that seems to be way too much!

J.Flown from this airport many times, every time is a stress free process. Security is usually fast. The staff are very friendly throughout the airport. There's a Wetherspoons pub/bar that serves food once past check-in. The prices are reasonable and are quite cheap compared to other airports.
Always a nice experience to travel to and from this airport after being in larger ones.

P. G.We've used it a few times over the years and always had a pleasant experience. Easy to get to now, thanks to new link road. The whole process of checking in, security and waiting for boarding seems more efficient and less stressful than other airports. Friendly staff, enough shops to keep you occupied for a while and a large, airey space set you up nicely for your departure to warmer (or colder) climes.

R. R.This is the best airport I have ever travelled from. My doctor has had to prescribe me medication to get through Manchester Airport due to my claustrophobia, as staff there are routinely unhelpful and aggressive and cause me to have panic attacks, despite me complaining several times (each time they've refused to uphold my complaint). This is despite me coping with every other airport in the world I've travelled through.
By contrast, security staff at Doncaster are friendly, kind, compassionate and delightful. They needed to unpack my bag but did it neatly and with a smile. All staff at the restaurant and boarding were unbelievably pleasant. I'd fly from here every time if it was possible - nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

The down side if this is I've only used it once because the flights from here are ridiculously more expensive than the likes of Manchester and east Midlands. Please get this sorted Doncaster I would love to travel from here every time.

N. T.No issues when we went on a recent holiday to Bulgaria. Check in was quick. Duty Free was fine. Food and Drink were fine. Smoking area conveniently outside.
Only issue (hence the loss of a star) is the car park looks like it needs the road marking repainting. Cars driving up and down lanes over where the old parking bays have previously been. Give way markings on top of parking bays. Needs all removing and re-doing.

I was unwell on arrival at the airport at 5.45am and was greeted by an Ambassador of the airport. After visiting the toilet I was shown to the check in desk and the lady checking me in noticed I didnt look well so got a person from the assistance team with a wheelchair who looked after me. I was already booked for assistance.
On return a week later I was helped by a lovely lady (Jane Hassell) from the assistance team who saw to my every need and took me in a wheelchair right to the door near to where our car was. She is a very friendly and helpful lady and I have met her several times as we always travel from Doncaster Airport. The best in England by far.
N. s.It's an airport. You can get in and out is the country via it. Providing your have the correct paper work
K. 6.Delivered and picked up passengers here recently. Car parks are conveniently located right in front of the terminal building. The drop off and pick up lane has a barrier which issues a ticket. It states that the minimum charge is £1 however I was not charged anything on either occasion. I was in the pick up / drop off lane for less than 5 mins on each occasion. No queues or hassle - very easy to find - just take the "Great Yorkshire Way" from J3 of the M18 (past the front of the mammoth Amazon warehouse). My passengers flew with Flybe and had great flights.
D.Access by Car is awesome, no queuing or waiting. Parking is just outside the terminal Building.
As with all the other airports i've been to, the departures area charges silly prices for drinks and food, whereas the Duty Free area is quite small in comparison to major airports. Food and Drinks quality were fine & the Bar / Departure Area was clean and looked modern. I was a little disappointed there was no paid for Lounge Service.
The location and ease of access to this airport by car, makes this my No1 Airport of Choice.

P. G.It was a quick airport to travel through and security was quick and easy. However, the actual airport does not have a lot to offer - simply a Subway, a WHSmiths/duty free store and a weatherspoons. However, there is an outdoor smoking area. Because the gates are quite small - the queuing system is confusing because a lot of the time the queue combined with the gate next to us, which was confusing and crowded. The airport is easy to find however, with good bus links from the centre of Doncaster.

G. A.Speedy check-in, took approximately 5 mins altogether to queue, drop off our bags and collect our boarding passes. Security is also quite quick, staff can sometimes be rude. Departures lounge has limited facilities. Boarding is quite a slow process, and lead to our plane being delayed by approx. 15 mins.
On our return flight, the queue at the UK Border was quite long, with only 1 plane load waiting. It took us about 20 minutes to eventually have our passports checked etc, and the majority of that time, we were stood outside in the cold wind. However, because we took so long at immigration, our bags were already waiting to be collected on the carousel. Quick exit from terminal and car park with multiple lanes.

L. P.This is a small friendly airport where the staff are great and little queuing. Be careful of the wetherspoons which seems to have the monopoly. It's reasonable value but the staff don't seem to be up to speed on the "drinks included" offers. So having asked advice about a pale ale I was given one which wasn't included in the pizza offer so ended up being charged a lot more and was told it was my own fault! Staff training here seems to have fallen well below the wetherspoons normal training as staff are usually brilliant on the high street.

My friend and myself were travelling with our teenage boys who are both autistic so always dread the travelling . This time round our experience of travelling was made so much easier thanks to a lovely man called John Lawson ( hope that's spelt right) . From the moment we arrived any stress we had about travelling disappeared thanks to John. He helped us from beginning to the end so a massive thank you from all 4 of us . This was our 1st time travelling through this airport but not our last.

H.Went to Majorca from here, nice, comfortable airport facilities, if it wasn't too expensive would always fly from here, but sometimes it's cheaper to fly from a airport out of our county, which I find hard to believe, as they either want you to use the airport or not, one day someone will think, we don't need to fly with empty seats, that's why I look with about two weeks to go and the price will have dropped what will be a good deal, also car parking fees need to be addressed, as it all adds to the cost that makes me look at other airports, where it can be cheaper to drive and park at others, but having said that would prefer to use Doncaster to give the economy a boost in Yorkshire, so please try and be good on price, more will use it and more flights will then be needed.

a. v.You get 15 minutes of free parking for drop off and pick up. For passengers there is a pub in the terminal area where you can have a meal and a pint while waiting for your flight.

A. n.The reason I am giving Doncaster Sheffield airport a three star is because when me and my wife had a holiday to Bulgaria we used the meet and greet parking side well my car went through the camera bay and there was no Mark's on the car but when we got back my airbag light and seatbelt restraint light was on in the car when I put my key in the ignition so I went to ask the attendant what as gone on with my car and behold they did not know out so I made a complaint about it and get this they said the car had no Mark'son it when it went through the bay and that they are not accepting responsibility for the Mark's and the faults on my car so as you can see not to impressed with meet and greet will not be using that again. But I have it in black and white on paper that they admit there was no maks on car at the time off our arrival to meet and greet

B. K.Small but good . This is probably the closest airport to sheffield and lets be honest not the biggest one but really friendly airport and plus for smokers it has designated smoking area after the check in and personal control. I cannot fault it.

D. W.I actually went to the covid19 test center based in the car park at the airport. No problems to report and straight forward testing was in and out in less than half an hour.
