I attended Jaguar Fort Kinnaird on Saturday, in order to look at the F-Type as part of the search for my next car. The staff at reception were incredibly welcoming on my arrival, and for the duration of my time there.
I've been dealing with Edward Sykes, who has been very helpful in sourcing indicative pricing information, as well as arranging a test drive this week at short-notice, which I very much enjoyed. It was clear Ed understood and had a passion for the product. The test-drive has helped focus my mind on the F-Type as a real contender for my next car.
I'd definitely recommend the garage to those buying, or those just browsing, and I've been very grateful for Edward's approach to dealing with myself as a prospective customer. If I decide to purchase an F-Type, I will be returning to Pentland Jaguar to speak to Ed.

Bought a Jaguar F Type R from Pentland Jaguar Dundee remotely without ever seeing the vehicle. I dealt with Shaun Toher who is a credit to your team. He was professional, polite and ensured I had videos of the car, full details of the condition and showed a genuine interest in ensuring the car arrived as per his word. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this dealership and Shaun and I hope to do business with you in the future. On a separate note, what a car and the exhaust! Glad I sacked off the option of the 911 :)

The review is for service department and not for the sales.
Staff is really polite (with minor exclusions) and tries to help.However there is significant reduced communication between client and staff when the car is already in. You contact to ask about the car, you are told you will get an update in a few hours but you dont. You call the next day as you dont even know if someone has seen the car or not. You speak with someone on the phone that tells you what the issue is and then you get the mechanics report and its something different. I understand that it can busy sometimes but when you pay at least 2x (maybe 3x) times more compared to an independent garage you expect something better. As for the hands-on service, the case with my F type was complicated so can't really judge on that. Its not clear what the issue was back then, but it's fixed at least for now (had to visit twice).

Had to order a replacement key after losing mine - expensive lesson at £697. Fortunately I had key cover - best £12 ever spent!
No issues with the showroom and they have appropriate measures in place for COVID. My issue was with communication. They were supposed to call when the key was in to arrange for fitting the new key module/coding - didn’t happen. I then called to chase up and a message was left to call me back - didn’t happen. Price was also higher than I had initially been quoted but i didn’t push the issue as it was covered by insurance anyway. Overall not a bad experience but I expect better from a ‘prestige’ dealer.

My Jaguar's front headlight needed replaced so I rang the Pentland team. From the first call they were professional and attentive. I was quoted a reduced price from that of other Edinburgh garages which surprised me. I initially came for just a headlight change, and left with a car that looked brand new. The team had cleaned it from the inside out free of charge. I'm not sure if this is a standard service but it was greatly appreciated. Should I have any issues with my car in the future I will return to them. My niece and nephew also loved the complimentary biscuits. Thank you.

I didn’t buy my car at Pentland but took it there to have a key coded after it was supplied with only one by another dealer. First of all, I had a call from a service advisor ahead of the visit to confirm what work needed done. Between booking and arrival my father in law was unexpectedly taken into hospital. When the work took longer that expected , they arranged for a courtesy car for me to take my wife and her mother to the hospital as he was coming out of surgery. My son and I were given coffee and a soft drink while we waited. The ad blue tank was filled and the car washed and vacuumed free of charge. Every member of staff we have spoken to at the dealership has been polite, courteous and professional. All of this from a dealer who to date has not had a penny from me as a customer but who will now be doing the servicing on my Jaguar XF. Excellent.

Purchased a used XF through Derek and the service was first class from start to finish. Derek met me at the railway station to give me a lift to their dealership, refunded my railway tickets for myself and my daughter as well as putting fuel in the car get me back to Leeds.
i would happily do the travel again for that sort of service.
Sorry it took a while to get this review on but couldn't let such great service go without saying something.

Graham Nairn could not have been more helpful and informative and attended to every detail throughout, could not have been better!

Pentland Jaguar is a high class dealership. The showroom is impressive with the Jaguar, Landrover and Range Rover brands. The waiting area has a good selection of literature and complimentary drinks. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the service you receive is top quality, fast and efficient. My car was returned to me after my MOT washed, dried and vacuumed looking like new.

Went in today to look at the F-pace, not the biggest of garages but service was great from opening the door to leaving! Derek Cartner great guy! Nice attitude not like some other garages we've been in! Who try to force a sale or want details of you straight away before you even get in the door! When we're due to change cars we'll be returning here!

From my years of experience everything front of house will be first rate, good attention and customer contact, professionalism especially in sales, and cars cleaned upon return. What I have noted is the phone calls when submitting for servicing or repair to suggest other work. I believe Jaguar rely on a lot of their senior and company owners just responding with "ok, just get it done". Buzz phrases like dangerously condition/badly worn are touted implying inevitably. Each time previously I need something done even though the car drives perfectly. The culture appears to be suggesting to replacing parts before they've finished their life, as there's a grey area between forward planning and the failure of the part. Tyres are frequently cited, which I had yet again in the summer as "worn to the cord", yet I've just now replaced it in January! Needless to say I'm no longer continuing JFSH

SOS nail in tyre! Popped in here today , Louise Scott could not have been more helpful. Took everything in hand, leaving me to relax with free tea, coffee, juice and biscuits and of course the stunning vehicles. Fabulous customer service no matter why you visit. 👍

Not interested once they had been paid -promised to service car but despite requests would not send evidence of servicing ; I think it was done as the car computer advised oil was overfilled but no other evidence ;it is sad as I love Jaguars and this sort of attitude will only lead to further losses
