Contacted Ear health removal and spoke with Stephen, who was lovely, due to circumstances needed to arrange a home visit for my mum. He was very accommodating and he helped get the appointment arranged quickly. Appointment was tonight with Diane and she was amazing my mum has complete relief and can’t believe how clearly she can hear again. Many many thanks to both Stephen and Diane for such amazing and lovely service. Anyone looking for ear wax removal I would absolutely recommend

I suffer from regular build up of ear wax and after my local surgery advised this procedure is no longer carried out by themselves, I found Diane at a clinic in Stepps. My appointment was for 30 minutes and Diane explained the whole process to me. During my appointment I was made to feel welcome and relaxed. The procedure is completely painless and almost pleasant !! Diane took a few pictures of the inside of my ears before and after treatment and I can say I will be returning on a regular basis in the future. The total cost was £60 and to have my hearing returned I think this represents money well spent Thanks Diane 👍

Really fantastic service. Diane is friendly, gentle, and informative. She talked me through the procedure beforehand and asked about my medical history so that she could use the correct method for wax removal. I went to ears wax removal clinic as I had pain in my ears and GP suggested to get the wax removed. I was seen by Diane and she mentioned I had very hard build up of wax over time. It was extremely painful as I had severe infection as well. She left no stone unturned to help get the infection and pain treated. Diane even discussed the case with ENT department in QEUH and helped in getting the best treatment. I can't thank Diane enough for all her help throughout the treatment and for wax removal as I had been in a lot of pain and she was so helpful throughout the treatment. I have never written a review before but I wanted to write one to say how much I would recommend Diane & the earwax removal service. I had an unsuccessful attempt at earwax removal by irrigation which made it worse & I could hardly hear. I phoned up yesterday (Sat) & made an appt for Monday. I was phoned back shortly after to say Diane would be able to see me that day (after hearing of my experience) Diane was so professional & explained the procedure so well & put me at my ease immediately. She has a lovely, calming manner.The person I spoke to on the phone was also friendly & helpful. The earwax removal was done by micro suction & was so quick & pain free. The most pleasing thing for me is they are open on Sundays as before with NHS I had to take time off work. She takes the time to explain the procedure beforehand, combining the use of props and expertise, ensuring that the patient is fully prepared and at ease for the procedure. Microsuction is very safe and you'll feel completely relaxed in Diane's care, not to mention the fact that the treatment itself is both quick and painless. You will be able to see before and after pictures and Diane will provide you with recommendations such as how often you might need repeat treatment (if you do at all) and products/advice on ear care moving forward. Oh and she accepts contactless payments!

My wife badly needed a build up of wax removed from her ears. As this service is no longer available at our GP surgery we looked online to find somewhere we could have this done privately. We found this -lace where an NHS accredited nurse carried out the procedure quickly and efficiently. She was friendly and explained everything she was doing, even showing photos of the wax build up before treatment and afterwards showing it was gone. Excellent service which is recommended.

This was an amazing experience. I have struggled for years with a lot of wax in both ears, so much so my hearing aids don’t work as well. I am disabled and I paid for a home visit and it was well worth the extra expense. I had syringing and also micro suction, which left both ears totally clear of wax. What I liked about the procedure was a photo taken of each ear showing the waxy state of my ears. One ear was much worse than the other. When I saw the huge amount of wax taken out I was shocked but more so when it was discovered it was the remains of a cotton bud! Never again will I put a cotton bud near my ears. I was so lucky this did not create an infection in my ear. It was also great to be able to compare the first photo with the clear finished ear. I’ve got my hearing back, and I would recommend either or both procedures with this company. The Health Care Professional carrying out the procedures was excellent, and you couldn’t have wished for anyone better. She was very caring, thorough, thoughtful and helpful. Thank you so much. I have a very narrow , left ear canal which becomes very easily blocked with wax but Diane persevered until all the wax was removed. She used suctioning and another method involving warm water which seemed to work really well. She kept me informed at all times of what she was doing and gave me advice at the end to help prevent the build up of wax. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more professional experience . I'd never had earwax removed before so didn't really know what to expect. But, from my arrival, Diane took the time to explain the options she'd pick from for my particular case and what each of them did. This immediately engendered confidence in her and the treatment. She took a look inside both ears and confirmed that both were blocked to a greater or lesser extent and both ears needed to be de-waxed, using a combination of suction and irrigation. Thankfully, the medieval sounding "instrumentation" procedure wasn't required. Over the course of nearly an hour. Diane gently and carefully removed what seemed like gallons of wax, using skill and care and some weird noises in my head. The experience wasn't remotely unpleasant and the moments of clarity as each chunk of wax came out were very satisfying. My hearing is now immeasurably improved and I'm listening with incredulity to some favourite music as I type this. The clarity and detail are revelatory. So, i can wholeheartedly recommend Diane's services to anyone who thinks their hearing is compromised by wax. Good practice is to apply oil to the affected ears for a day or two beforehand, makes removal easier. Prices seem very fair for the experience, care and attention to detail that Diane brings to the task. I was with her for an hour, making the sessions excellent value. The good news is that she will charge a reduced inspection-only fee, if otvturne out there's no wax build up. Thanks Diane!

Just home from a visit to Ears in Stepps. What a transformation! Having had bad experiences in the past with a large hearing organisation I was quite worried about having microsuction done again. This time was completely different - Diane decided on a combination of irrigation and microsuction. She took time to talk before starting the procedure and then explained everything as we went along. The procedures were totally comfortable and now I can hear again! I shall definitely go again whenever I need to. One year later: wax build-up so needed to visit again. Exactly the same comments as above for this visit. I also have chronic problems caused by mucus which has become stuck in the eustachian tubes. This cannot be fixed by physical intervention but Diane has been extremely helpful in explaining the problem and discussing what I might be able to do myself to drain the tubes - e.g. steam inhalation.

Had partially blocked ear early January....not a big deal but extremely annoying. Bought over the counter treatment from local pharmacy.....in which the end result is usually more of a miss than a hit and it didn't disappoint this time. Once again time and money wasted. Had no idea the NHS didn't provide ear blockage removal service anymore - but soon found out they had effectively subbed out to others....a notable opticians and pharmacy being amongst them. Problem going down that route is that their clinicians need to go to your local shop.....and this will lengthen appointment dates. Found Ear Wax Removal/Stepps on the web and they are in situ....phoned one day and got appointment the next day. Claire Murphy sorted problem within 15 minutes and also gave advice for going forward. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Many many years ago after getting ear syringed I asked the nurse what do I put in ear if it happens again - her reply was "the only thing that YOU put in your ear is your elbow"!!....very good advice....get professional to sort whereby they can actually see what they're doing.
