Kibworth wildlife hospital is based off the Fleckney Rd near the garden centre not visible from the main road you will need to turn off the Fleckney Road to the football club follow the lane to the football club and turn left a short drive leads to the hospital grounds and carpark run entirely by volunteers the hospital cares for many animals and birds with one or other injury. these are wildlife creachers that have been given a second chance by the public or hospital volunteers who get them to the centre where on their recovery are released back to the country side. Occasionally some live their days out at the site due to nature of the injury sustained.
staff are helpful and the emergencies number is 24hr.

I dropped off an injured baby wood pigeon which has been attacked and fallen from its nest, I kept the baby overnight and take next day as I dropped her off, she got very sassy, the people at the centre were brilliant, it’s a lovely place, I had a goat come up and say hello which was so cute.
It’s a wonderful place for injured wildlife to go ad be cared for.
Good job.

I contacted them about a small poorly hedgehog I found in my garden out in the day time. They were very helpful and immediately said they would take him in.

Excellent service and such a lovely place! Found a hedgehog all tangled in some netting and they were able to check her over the same day and gave some great advice. Well worthy charity if anyone wants to donate!

I dropped an abandoned Wood Pigeon to the centre. The fledgling was too young to have left the nest. The staff were absolutely brilliant. What a wonderful place. Thank you!

We took a baby hedgehog to the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital. It wasn't poorly, just too small to hibernate. They will care for it until Spring when we will collect it and return it to our garden. This is an amazing place, so glad that they could help as we have nowhere to keep a hedgehog.
