I had a very good experience during my stay at Parkside Hospital. I was there from 8th-11th November 2021 for a right knee replacement under Mr Bell. The surgery was excellent with no feeling of real pain while recovering, only some discomfort. The aftercare from the nursing staff was wonderful and the range of menu items daily was considerable and all very tasty. I can't fault anything from my admission to my departure. Thank you to you all for making my stay so comfortable. I would recommend.

I was at Parkside from 29th October to 5th November for gender reassignment surgery. Firstly my surgeon Mr Bellringer and my clinical nurse Laura Mita were amazing from the start of my referral. Secondly, the nurses and duty doctors took extremely good care of me during my stay and were very attentive, caring and understanding of anything I asked. I do not think I could have been cared for any better. The catering staff were lovely and the menu is exceptional and extensive, very well prepared and cooked. Housekeeping were fantastic and not in the least intrusive and kept my room clean and supplied with toiletries etc. I very much enjoyed my stay and the care that was taken of me and admit to crying when it was time to check out. I highly recommend this private hospital.

I had surgery at parkside hospital in november by Mr James Bellringer who is an amazing surgeon and my nurse Laura mita was absolutely lovely too and always had me smiling, the hospital is exceptional, the staff and nurses are fantastic and I will miss them all greatly, the whole experience was one of the best I've ever had considering I was in hospital, the food was something else and the care provided was above and beyond!! I highly recommend this hospital and if I had to I would stay here again!!

I am unsure how to start this review because I am absolutely blown away by how amazing my experience has been with Parkside so far. The care, bed side manner, approach towards me has been out of this world and like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. I'm due to have my surgery there next week and will leave a follow up review which I already know will be nothing but positivity. I am actually really excited about staying there for my proceedure as everyone I have met there is so nice, welcoming and warm. I truly wish that everyone's medical experience with hospitals was the same. FOLLOW UP: Wow....could I have wanted a better private care experience?! I was booked in July to have abdominal surgery which of course is scary...but honestly the staff at the hospital and my surgeon made me feel so confident, comfortable and treated me like royalty every step of the way from first walking in the door to saying farewell after a week. The food and drink is amazing! (I really miss it!) The facilities are amazing...just honestly was a dream experience! My main shout outs are Brian, Cayleigh, Prince, Derek, Analiesa and of course the amazing Professor Manyonda! If you have the funds please please put your trust in their care! :)

Dr Basarab is a very competent dermatologist. However I am still experiencing ongoing bouts of acne and I hope through contacting her referral the acne and scarring will go away. The people monitoring mask-wearing on the door lack customer service and communication skills.

Had appointment today for CT Colonography - I have terrible claustrophobia and was dreading this test. I explained to the doctor and nurse before the test and they were absolutely brilliant. They kept me calm, did test quickly and I did not have any fears throughout the whole test. Parkside is amazing Hospital.

I recently had a cataract operation on both my eyes but not at the same time. The first one was in April this year and the second in May. On both occasions I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort and was able to see perfectly after a couple of days. My consultant was a Mr. Paul Ursell and he explained what would happen during the 10 - 15 minute procedure . I suffered no after effects and would recommend the operation to anyone suffering from cataracts. Parkside Hospital were I had it done were excellent in taking care of you and provided all that was necessary. Alan Brace

I have been here several times for myself or family members. At each visit the experience was excellent, the consultants were fabulous and the treatments effective. Today I visited a consultant for an ophthalmology appointment. The visit was excellent, he discussed options and underwent the minor procedure right there and then with supreme expertise. The corona virus measures seemed safe without disrupting customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that I could get an appointment quickly and there is ample free parking on site.

Mr Proctor is an excellent Orthopaedic Surgeon. He approached my problem with professionalism and provided me the best care.

I had a small surgical operation with Mr J Colville (Plastic Surgeon) back in July 2020. I can't fault his service - a gentleman who managed to get me scheduled for surgery once lockdown was relaxed. Note that I was self paying as I did not want to wait for months in the NHS. Total end to end cost was just under £3k. They do treat you like a VIP compared to the NHS!!

My experience today at Parkside having had a bilateral brachioplasty on both arms by Mr Mark Soldin was a wonderful experience. From my Consultant, his Registrar, Anaesthetist and all the staff involved (Gemma, my nurse your amazing). The care I received, information given, the kindness shown, facilities and wow my room as well as the food was all superb. I highly recommend Parkside. Thank you everyone involved.

Came to parkside as my operation at St Georges had been transferred here. The service parkside provides is fantastic. All the nurses were so friendly and made my stay a lot more manageable! I cannot find the words to praise firstly the consultant that did my surgery, Mr Hyde. Not only a very kind pleasant person, but an absolute star! I was terrified of having longish term bruising on my facial nerve but instead woke up with full mobility of my face. And the scar … I only had the procedure 3 weeks ago and it's hardly visible despite the 20+ stiches! On the day of the surgery I was terrified when I got to hospital but the staff has been amazingly nice and accommodating and managed to calm me down! I wish I remembered the name of all the nurses and the anaesthetist that helped me so that I could mention them, but unfortunately I have a very poor memory (I was however in room 209 on 5th Feb, so please thank and praise them on my behalf). I also found the facilities very good and cleaned and the location just by Wimbledon Common is ideal to "relax". So all in all I would 100% recommend this hospital!

Amazing hospital, I came here for Gender Reassignment Surgery at the end of April 2018 and had to spend a week here. The staff were really friendly and lovely, The rooms were kept clean and the food was amazing. Each room had a TV mounted on the wall and En-Suite Showers. I was kinda nervous about this operation but the staff were so lovely.

Better late than never for a review. The NHS sent me to this hospital around 5 years ago and they picked up the tab! Was most impressed! I wish I could afford to go private all of the time! Superb!

Some of the nursing staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, others were downright rude and unhelpful. They managed to mess up my evening meal order. After my shoulder operation, they couldn't find a sling in the whole hospital till the next day, so that they had to improvise wich wasn't great. The Physio was good except she didn't have my notes for my first appointment and although she saw me late for the last one, she didn't extend the time, which means I only had a 20 mn appointment. The Specialist and the anesthetic team were very good.

My daughter has been very poorly for a long time, and had many stays at Parkside. All of the staff have been kind to her even when at times I would not have blamed them for not being so. They understand her fear & have all gone that bit extra to help & re-assure her. She normally ends up at Parkside when our local hospital fails her so they get her at the worse possible point where she is beside herself with pain, sickness & unable to cope. The staff know her well & how to calm her & treat her quickly to start getting everything back under control. When she leaves she is well & a totally different person to when she arrives. I think they are all absolute Angels, care & compassion from the moment you walk through the door, from absolutely everyone. A lot of hospitals could honestly learn a lot form the staff at Parkside. But from the bottom of my heart I thank each & every member of staff for their compassion & care for my daughter when she is in with you all. Carol mum to Jazi xx

Very much a 5 star experience, was like checking into a hotel, staff are amazing, friendly, fun and attentive, had surgery on left leg by Dr Sudip Ray, super nice guy, my nurse was Larisse, lovely lady, recovery room guy was Brian, good fun, that's all the names I remember, but everyone is fantastic. My 8 year old son came in for a tonsillectomy and the staff could not have made him any more relaxed. From the receptionist to the nurse, the surgeon and aneisatist they were all amazing. They took time to listen to him, look at some artwork he done and made sure we, as parents were well looked after. His nurse Tamsin was really amazing and made his experience a stressless one. On the 27th March 2018, I had limb lengthening surgery, my surgeon Adrian Day is an amazing surgeon he made me feel calm and walked me through the process and his over all personality makes u feel at ease. Parkside is a lovely hospital and I cannot fault the nurses or doctors as they were so caring and helpful. If you need any kind of Knee,hip surgery, I would advise Adrian Day. I attended parkside hospital on 8th September 2017 for a bilateral abductor londos release operation. I was operated by Mr Adrian Day . His patients ethos was first class. He explained the procedure to me and reassured me. The nurses and staff were excellent and they were very helpful. I would recommend this hospital to my family, and if I needed another operation I would not hesitate to come here again. Thanks to your kind and helpful assistance . I am feeling much better now and hopefully will be on the mend soon.

This is review of Ms Dr Riad that works in Parkside Hospital. My previous review of Parkside was one star. However I have changed that review because of Dr Riad. Dr Riad is a caring, knowledgeable and a straight talking woman. Her care is second to none. She makes you comfortable as soon as you step in to her office. I really like that she is straight talking but at the same time compassionate which is difficult to balance. She is very knowledgeable and I have no doubt she is the best in her field. As soon as you meet her you can tell she has the patient interest at heart. She is well organised and thorough in her approach. She knows exactly the best way forward and can offer heaps of advice. Just a warning to all that wants to see Ms Riad: It’s a long waiting time to see her. It’s about 6 - 8 weeks but it’s really worth the wait. Having meet other constants she is by far the best person to see.
