Hough Farm is an excellent yard. The stable we were given was lovely and large, the facilities are fantastic with an indoor and an outdoor school, and the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. Hacking from the yard is on quiet bridle ways and roads, and the countryside is lovely. There is an option for part livery, summer grazing is good and the owners Tom and Simone really care about the horses on the yard. We have really enjoyed our time on Hough Farm, and only wish it was closer to our house - if it was we would never have moved!

A lovely yard with great owners. Simone and Tom are very approachable and always have time for you. Having an indoor, outdoor and hacking from the farm is wonderful with the bonus of fabulous views when riding in the outdoor.

I enjoyed my time on this yard . It was nice to meet some lovely people , some im still in touch with . I moved simply because one of my horses needed all year round turnout due to arthritis . Also my newest one was getting cranky wintering in , but I've since found out that she formerly lived out all year round . Many things I miss about this yard . I have no complaints against Tom and Simone and personally always felt I got along well with them . The first week in quarantine can be frustrating , however it's there for a purpose and if it protects your horse from potential danger , then so be it , it soon passes and they will do the morning feed for you which is a big help . I would be happy to use this yard again .

The loan arrangements they have at the farm are great, from one day to seven days a week. Always fine if I can't get up to do the horse on my loan day and also willing to swap days if I ask. Indoor facilities which is great for the weather up North!! I would recommend a friend to loan a pony from here.

I'm currently on this farm in which I'm very happy. Me, my 2 daughters & 4 horses have all been made more than welcome with such friendly and very nice people on there. Facilities are available to be used at all times and shared well by all on there. I can't thank the owners enough from 3 weeks ago when I was rushed in hospital and couldnt get in touch. In which they noticed we hadn't been and took real good care of our 4 babies. I hopefully will never need to move again and here to stay.... There all out for summer now and absolutely loving it, my Queenie as never been as happy and chilled, Noway will I ever take that off her, beautiful place with beautiful people with very happy horses, big thanks again to Tom & Simone 4 all there hard work for this to be happening

This is my first horse but I have loaned horses on other farms. I really love this farm. The owners are very helpful to me not only with my horse but in my personal problems. I find both Tom and Simone to be very friendly to myself and anybody else I take with me. Would recommend this farm to anybody.
