What a difference to just ending up in A&E! At first I was annoyed being sent somewhere else on arrival at A&E but it was like walking into a private hospital! Comfortable chairs to wait in, nice spacious seats (not the plastic awful pain inducing ones in A&E!!) and the staff are lovely! It’s so calm and seems well run, very efficient head nurse I think sat at a desk organising who comes to the department. 5 stars all round for Staff, Care and overall experience, turns out I had a blood clot on my lung and all the scans / X-ray and bloods done quickly and seamlessly- I was home in bed by tea time after arriving mid morning! Very impressed thank you everyone @themapleunit

What a beautiful part of the hospital and the nurses and doctors are the best and I cannot forget the reception lady she was lovely. I was well looked after the moment I sat down. Made me feel at ease 😁thank you xxxx

Very impressed by the efficiency my DVT diagnosis was dealt with, both by my GP at the Red House surgery and the staff at MKUH.
